Because it's just what the doctor ordered! Our American pale has an excellent malty richness balanced by a generous amount of Centennial and Cascade hops for a pronounced hop bitterness and aroma. Enjoy it on its own or with any type of food.

Stumbled upon the Oak Greek Nut Brown on tap the day before at our hotel in Sedona...My god thats what I needed after 8 hours on the road. The following day we took off to wander ... and what did we bounce into the actual Brewery ... They had a Sampler but we decided to try them all and relax and watch the day go by

On tap at Brewery & Grill in Sedona. Crystal clear amber color with a white head of modest size and moderate duration. Very little lacing. Aroma: sweet malts and mostly citrus hops.
Flavor: surprisingly hoppy (Centennial and Cascade hops).from mildly sweet start to the mildly bitter finish. Nice medium body; perhaps a bit light in carbonation; quite dry.
O: exceptional and recommended

I spent the week in Sedona Arizona and tried the Oak Creek brews both at the brewery itself as well as at a lot of the other local places. This beer, in fact, is also labeled as an Enchantment Pale at the Enchantment resort.
The beer was somewhat typical of a pale ale, with a light hop aroma and flavor balance by a light, bready malt. Color was a light copper with a small amount of very light colored carbonation. Taste was pretty typical of a pale ale, not my favorite, light hops, not too overpowering in any category. The subtle smell was of hops but it could have been more present.
Overall, a decent beer, just not good enough for me to seek out.

Appearance: orange in color with a fluffy 2" head that lasts a while. Nice thick lacing paints the glass.
Smell: caramel and some floral bitterness is pleasant on the nose.
Taste: caramel, orange citrus, and a floral bitterness are most prominent, and a mild ripe fruit sweetness lingers in the background.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout. Aftertaste is short and refreshing.
Drinkability: solid sessionable APA. This beer was extremely fresh and clean tasting on tap.

As the scores reflect, this is Oak Creek's best offering by far. Mild hop and citrus aroma reflect the taste of this beer. Its is a hoppy pale ale more than it is a weak IPA. A good balance of malt makes this a surprisingly enjoyable beer. More than I can say for the rest of Oak Creek's stuff.

Pours a bright, clear copper color, it is topped by a frothy light tan head. The aroma has notes of toasted biscuits, pine, a bit of citrus. The taste is sharp with a nice bitterness up front. The taste then moves to an off dry malty note that is a mix of biscuits, and a hint of caramel. The dominant flavor is the hops, whether the sharp piney bitterness or the softer more subtle fruity citrus notes. This has a bit more bitterness that one would expect from a standard pale ale, and I like it a bit better for this reason. This is a nice solid Pale Ale, almost getting into the IPA range of things.

Appearance is a nice golden color with a light head and some light lacing. The aroma is fruity and citrusy. There's something else there that I can't quite put my finger on. The taste is lightly hoppy, I was hoping for more. The hoppiness that was there didn't seem particularly crisp. There is a nice malt presence along with some fruity essence that is almost white wine-like. As I drink it there are tons of tiny bubbles that coat my mouth. Also a slightly creamy mouthfeel. At first I thought this would make a pretty decent session beer, but I seemed to like it less as I went on.
All in all an OK beer, but nothing special.

The beer after its extrication from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a limpid amber color with a smallish frothy white head and the left over lace a thin sheet upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, fresh and clean, start is lightly sweet and the top light in feel. Finish is sternly acidic with the hops meek and mild, the aftertaste dry, drinkable beer.
