Pours a deep dark brown color with a medium beige top that dissolves quickly. The aroma is of caramel, bread ,raisins, dark fruits and burned sugar.
The taste is sweet with flavour of dark fruits while the back has roasted and bready notes with some flavour of caramel. The finish has a slight bitterness and the aftertaste has a decent lenght. I think it's get better when it warms up. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy with the alcohol quite good masked. Moderate carbonation with a medium body.
All in all is a quite drinkable and enjoying dark ale. Not the most exiting one out there, but fairly good.

From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles. In Grimbergen glass. Watching Los Soprano 6x16. Light body, with some caramel, slight dark fruits notes and a bit metallic. It isnt unpleasant but it doesnt and much either.

Purchased at Albert Heijn. Dark in the glass with small head which quickly dissipates with no lacing.. Coffee flavor dominates, with a bit of chocolate with moderate carbonation in mouth. Malty with some hops and mild alcohol. A nice brew that I would buy again.

This dark ale is a typical Belgian traditional beer. Aroma and taste of slightly roasted malts, good balance in bitter and sweet. It's a good warming ale on a cold evening.
I'd say this beer is not going to let you down.
