This is a great beer. I enjoy ice beers as it is,but the smoothness of this beer is exceptional. The smell is very pleasing and the aftertaste is easy on the palate...
A good all around beer while watching the Patriots on a Sunday.

Canadian beers are great and Molson Ice? Takes the cake as one of the best beers in Canada. Molson Ice is good for two things... drinking... and marinating a roast in it because the flavor is absolutely excellent.

I gave it an overall 4 because it could've been better. I keep buying it because of the swell taste of it. It's not this: "punch you in the kidneys" taste.

I'm very surprised this beer got such low ratings. It may be mass produced, and it may not be all that unique, but Molson Ice is certainly delicious and gets you very drunk on the cheap. This is not a craft brew, but for what it is there aren't many better beers out there. Molson Ice manages to be refreshing, tasty, and full of alcoholic goodness, a trifecter of awesomeness. It drinks well in hot and cold weather. You can down one after mowing your lawn or let it warm you up on a cold winter night. Molson Ice and I go way back. My taste in beer has certainly become much more eclectic since the days of chugging Molson Ice in my parent's basement, but I don't think I'll ever get sick of this beer.

12 oz. bottle poured into a pilsner glass.

I don't understand the "poor" rating this beer has.

This beer pours like a lager should. Nice head, clear and yellow. What are lagers supposed to look like again? Last time I checked, this!

Smells of corn and barley. Smells like Mickey's. If that's a bad thing, I don't know beer. Smells like it's going to be easy drinking yet give you a generous amount of alcohol.

Taste: oh my. Think of malt liquor, without the cloying sweetness. Or off putting aftertastes for you purists. This tastes great! Little hit of alcohol, but the watery mouthfeel washes it away nicely. Malty. Spiffy! Clean water, light hop bitterness (it IS there), picking up hardly any corn taste, just a nice mild beer flavor. Very good ice brewed beer.

Overall I'd say go and try this if you're tired of drinking bitter pinetree-esque brew for a quick buzz. Not too shabby on price, and it's easy drinking. Definitely not deserving of it's "poor" rating. That's reserved for Big Flats or Beer 30 for crying out loud. GET SOME.

Molson Ice brewed Molson Coors Canada, with an abv of 5.6 %. This brew pours out a deep amber color, with a nice white head. The smell of Molson Ice is rich with grains and malts. Not a bad looking or smelling brew. The taste is bold with flavors. You pick up on grins and malts. You can also pick up on the 5.60% ABV in this brew. This brew reminds me a of Budweiser , with a kick. Molson Ice is smooth but it has a kick. This brew is better than what I thought it would be. I will be buying this this brew to change it it for the the american style Lagers. Overall I'm giving Molson Ice a 4 out of 5. Molson Coors Canada, did a nice job with this one.

Smell: Grass and a touch of malt.

Taste: Very clean flavor. Malt balanced with mild hops.

Drinkability: An easy brew to pound. Very light and refreshing, but with enough flavor to let you know it is a beer.

Molson Ice has a thin, white, quickly-dissipating head, and a clear, yellow appearance with lots of bubbles streaming up, and no lacing. The aroma is faint, but indistinguishable grains and some hops can be picked up, as well as roastiness and sweetness. Mouthfeel is on the light to medium side, and Molson Ice finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and dry. Overall, I found this to be an above-average ice-brewed lager. I think it's worth trying.

A dry, cornhusk flavor, with some bittering hops at the end. This is an ICE beer, and a damn good one for the money. I bought mine in a can. There is no skunk.

look: 3 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5

Presentation: It was poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass.

Appearance: It has a light golden color with very good clarity and lots of carbonation. The head builds up tall and foamy and it is just off white in color. It fades nearly as fast as it forms leaving behind little to lace.

Smell: The aroma is simple and clean with a mild cereal grain character.

Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor is similar to Molson Canadian but a little stronger. The favor is somewhat sweet with a cereal grain malty body offset by a light grassy hop presence. It finish quickly and cleanly, a little bit dry, with some of the light hops bitterness. The texture is smooth but with good carbonation and a medium body.

Notes: Overall I would say that this is one of the cleaner crisper Ice beers that I have had.

This is like the Canadian Bud. Molson Ice is my cheap beer, the old stand by. It has good flavor and goes down easy. Plus it's no that filling, so you can drink a lot of it. But it does have a kick, almost like heiny, but not as bad. If you want to get buzzed on a good, worth the money beer, this is the one.

Bought on the reccommendation of a friend who likes Guinness about as much as I do. Yellow/light amber body with thin white head that dissipates rather quickly. Looks better than I expected. Smells yeasty and hoppy, somewhat sweet. Smells tasty. Tastes sweet and watered down, but agreeable. Very slight hop on the finish. Not great, but better than I thought it’d be. Give me this over any Anheuser-Busch (at least that I’ve tried) any day of the week, if I have to drink a macro.

Here is what I can say about this beer:

A: It has a Golden Pale color.

S: I can't smell any hops at all in this beer

T: You can taste the hops in this beer, which makes it semi-bitter.

M: It goes down smooth.

D: This is a nice session beer, that I will buy again.

Good stuff! it doesn't have that heavy bitter taste that most imports have. You can drink a number of them and they all go down as equally smooth. It gets you to that buzz level a litttle more quicker than other beers. If you never had one before it's worth the $23.00 for the case.

Beer is good value for the price. Nice flavor and for the style of American adjunct very on point and I rate it against style. For 6.49 for 6 pack would visit again as I have in the past.

Pours a light, fizzy, yellow color with some good head, but not much carbonation. Decent malty scent, slightly skunky. Nice taste for a macro lager, good and crisp, mostly malt, with just a bit of hop presence to smooth it out. Very smooth, a nice ice beer overall.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at a dive bar in Willow grove, PA. The appearance is a clear, light golden color with a tiny white head. The flavor is BMC but with a heavy bite. This is the least flavorful Molson product I have had (and I have had Molson XXX). Not horrible, but there are better Molson products out there.

Pours from the 12 oz. bottle a nice golden with a half finger head that settles into a medium collar. Lighter than expected carbonation, not nearly as fizzy or bubbly as other macros. Nose is malty. Taste is smooth & malty with very little hops & a clean finish. Mouthfeel is squarely in the middle, not watery or heavy. Overall, a decent, drinkable alternative when money's tight. or when there's only inferior choices available.

Not a bad summertime beer. If you are in a jam and cannot find some quality stuff this will get you through. Typical american lager taste with a little bit of hops thrown in. I experienced no skunkiness due to the fact my sample was from a big 24oz can. I could enjoy this stuff if nothing I preferred more was around.

Clear, pale gold in hue. The color of the liquid is not insipid; in fact there is a kiss of amber to it. Nice surprise. Plus there is a steady stream of animation racing towards the white head. At its apex the foam was a half finger in height but it had great staying power. I’m impressed. A small cap lasted the entire consumption. The subsequent lacing was akin to tattered wallpaper. For what this beer is, I must say, it looks very good.

The nose is very grainy and husky with a suggestion of spiciness and some skunk. The bouquet lacks potency so I can’t really complain about the nose. Sure it doesn’t say anything but it doesn’t say so much I’m offended. It is not inviting but I’m willing to take a sip without much fear…

The palate is clean… very clean. It is clean but not devoid of taste. I like the subtle suggestions of grain and husk. Light bitterness. It is lightly spicy and pleasantly harsh. Once warm it was still drinkable, actually a mild fruitiness emerged. It was raw but not abrasive. At least there is something here. Something to taste… something to remember! Straight from the fridge this is a decent Ice Beer. It does have some class. It is good enough for me to consider drinking this again.

Medium in body, the carbonation is firm and active, the mouthfeel is sturdy and very fitting for this rigid beer.

It is drinkable. I will remember this beer like I remember Miller High Life; it will have a positive mental note but it will have an asterisk next to it, “Drink only when in need of something cheap for an occasion when taste is approaching secondary.” In reality I didn’t think this beer was bad at all. I need to try this beer again. Maybe it was a fluke. I purchased one 12-ounce bottle in Omaha.

Poured a nice golden-yellow with a slight head that laster through the duration of the drink. The carbonation can be described as moderate at best.

Not much in the way of aroma, although there is a slight fruity twinge to it. The taste was remarkably smooth very a little bit of malt taste insterpersed with some hops. Overall, this beer is ramarkably smooth and quite drinkable. Definitely one of the better "Ice" beers that I have had. It would probably be a good beer for tailgating parties!

Poured from the can into a pint glass.

A - Clear amber-gold color with a finger-and-a-half head. Leaves lacing, but it disappears. Fizzy head.

S - Corn malt, grassiness, sugar, alcohol.

T - Corn malt, grass, sugar, alcohol, can metal.

M - Crisp but icy (no pun intended), it almost seems like it would crunch a bit if you could chew it, like slush. Kinda bitter aftertaste.

O - Like pretty much every "ice" beer, it just can't stand up to the regular version it sprang from. The colder the better, to match the ice in the game you're watching that inspired you to buy it.

12 oz bottle

Pale golden color with decent white head. Smells of pale malts and virtually no hops. Taste of corn, grains and malts. Has a light body with a medium carbonation. Good balance. Very drinkable.

If it has "ice" in the name, chances are its a cheap and quick buzz, and thats really all its good for. I will most likely have it again but I wasn't overly impressed.

Rating in comparison with other run of the mill lagers this beer is slightly better than average.
Appearance is the typical straw colored with brilliant carbonation and no lasting head.
The aroma is slightly apple like with no other noticeable characteristics.
The taste is mellow with just enough bitterness and estery tang to be refreshing and clean with just a hint of light maltiness in the middle of the tongue.
Being a "premium" lager, this beer has the mouthfeel of an actual beer, rather than water. This is enought to gain a point above average in this category.
Overall this beer is probably among the best of the Ice lager beers which is probably one of the most disgusting beer styles on the market today. Not a great beer, but better than a few of them out there.

A - Clear golden with a two finger frothy white head. Leaves no lacing.

S - Perfect amounts of rice adjunct, creamed corn, pale malt, aluminum.

T - Loads of rice up front, creamed corn middle, pale malt and rice finish. Well balanced for an adjunct, and I'm happy that it lacks any corn adjunct flavors. Tasty for the style.

M - Light crisp body with medium carbonation.

O - Overall, probably the best AAL that I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, easy drinking and very sessionable. Even my summer shandy loving girlfriend liked it so that's a bonus!
