Purchased at the LCBO as a single and served at 4deg C in a draught glass.

A- Opens well and pours a 1" high white head that lasts a minute before film out. Light to medium gold colour and filtered clear

S- Not much here at all. Really bad scent like a metal can

T- Not so good. Not so happy. Just an alcohol bomb.

M- A North American brew that has a niche... people that don't have time or the stomach to drink good brew. Bet you it's people that a stopping on the side of the highway to slam two beer as it's a different charge to drink a brew while driving but stopping and pounding two outside the car is not DUI LOL

Food Pairing

This not so great beer went well with...... I don't know. It's just a brew designed to slug and drive or slug and whatever. LOL

Enjoy if you can!!!!

This was my in my stocking this Christmas. It pours like a glass of ginger ale, with no real head. Graininess dominates the aroma. The flavor is sweet grainy malt, slightly more than the average macro. The carbonation is light (easier to shotgun I guess?). Really nothing more than a slightly stronger macro at a raised price.

Most interesting thing about this product is its packaging...comes in a tall, thin "pony" like can with contents of 250 ml.
Everything about this brew is sub par but marginally.
Nice colour, short of crown..aroma lightly of yeast and the taste is on the sweet side of well balanced.
Limited carbonation and weak bodied.
Find myself wondering "why" it the ABV they hope might promote sales? This product deserves to be consumed with a paper bag wrapper....but where to find a bag so small.

This has hit WNY as "Canadian X", in the same red-bull-sized can and 6.0 ABV.

Pour is pale gold with some foam. Average looking.

Aroma is sweet and adjunct laden, reminiscent of malt liquor.

Taste is heavy on grain, a bit watery, with a lingering sugary sweetness. Faint aftertaste of chemicals and alcohol.

Probably a bad call unless you're a frat boy looking to boast about how many cans of beer you drank in an hour.

Basically, Molson Canadian with a little more alcohol. Pours a pale yellow, slightly darker than what I remember Canadian to be. Big head foams up, then fades away. Very carbonated. Smells of corn, alcohol, malt, alcohol and corn. No hops detected. Tasted, well, bad. Overly sweet. Too much fermented corn dominated the flavour. Carbonated, soda mouthfeel. Pretty undrinkable, even cold.

*To try and give this a proper review, I poured three cans into my glass. The cans don't hold very much.

Pale yellow appearance with minimal foamy head. Has a sweet, corn smell with a hint of grain.

Taste is almost entirely wheat and sweetness. Picked up a slight hint of grass and malt. The taste starts off strong but quickly wears off. Light with bad carbonation, aftertaste is sweet and boozy.

This is a weird beer that is not meant to be savored and seems like a training beer for shotgunning or drinking games. If your drinking it for that purpose, there are better beers.

Was given a few from a friend.

Appearance: I'm not going to lie, I don't know. I've never poured on of these, in fact I just shot-gunned them, but I just gave it 2.0 because I know I would not be impressed.

Aroma: Corny alcohol. A real turn off. In other words, smells like Canadian.

Taste: Dominant malts with a skunky alcohol finish. Quite terrible.

Mouthfeel: Pretty smooth, until you swallow. Then you wished you hadn't.

Final Statment: Never buy this! But, if offered, stab a hold right on the side target, and shot gun it down. It's not THAT bad, but even for the purpose of shot-gunning, it's still small so any hint of impressiveness is lost.

A: Pours a clear bright yellow with just over 1 finger worth of foamy white head. Settles to a bit of a cap and left a decent amount of lacing.

S: Sweet grainy aroma with maybe some faint cooked veggies in the background.

T: Light grains with a grainy and cooked veggie after taste.

M: Medium to high carbonation with a light body.

O: It’s pretty similar to normal Canadian but has a few different tastes that aren’t necessarily for the better. The purpose of this beer is to get you drunk anyways so if you’re drinking this I don’t think you’re really looking for different tastes etc.

Purchased as part of the Holiday gift set and drank it anyway. The pour was of a bright gold to almost copper color capped with a full white head showing off its full carbonation. The nose was big on sugary sweetness with slight acidity in background, solvent like. Flavor is light but sugary, malt liquor like, long cloying sweet finish. This tastes very much sweeter than the imported Canadian we get and has more fusels also.

I've never had this, but it is a staple of teenagers who want to get drunk quick. The tiny can is a little bit of a laugh, but I guess it's all part of the image.

It looks just like any other lager: pale golden colour (maybe a bit too pale), and a thin foamy head. Lots of bubbles.

Smells faintly of wet corn, and not much else.

The taste is fairly grainy, with an adjuncty taste very noticible. The alcohol is also a little apparent towards the end. The mouthfeel is a bit heavier than normal for this kind of beer, but it lends itself well to the slight toasty malt notes. Fairly average, but the alcohol takes away from it a bit.

Overall, this isn't as horrible as I expected. It definitely not as bad as I expected, but not great. I see why the kids drink this.
