I picked up a 12-pack of Dave's Honey Brown on my most recent trip to Ontario. Amber/Red Lager seemed to be the closest catagory for this lager.

The beer poured mahogany in color topped by a short white head. Aromatic included peaches, apples and cocoa. Flavor had notes of chocolate, fruit, and a hint of maple. It's body was medium-light with medium carbonation.

This beer was okay at first, but became a bit cloying as I drank it. It's one you might want to drink highly chilled, straight out of the bottle. It's better when some of characteristics remain muted.
