This and Labatt Bleue were what i started drinking, back when it was available in Quebec and before discovering Unibroue.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle.

Appearance: A very pale, yellow body with a surprisingly thick white head that actually clings to the glass.

Smell: Alcohol infused corn and maybe a hint of fruit but that's a stretch. Strong for all the wrong reasons.

Taste: Ugh, that lacquer-like flavor of malt liquor. Strong but not too overpowering like others. Still not entirely pleasant.

Mouthfeel: Some spicy bitterness that feels fake is is probably from the alcohol burn.

Overall: Actually looked decent but it was all downhill from there. Enough for a review and i could already feel a headache creeping up.

This beer pours a clear gold with no head or lace. It seems to darken a bit as it warms. The aroma is of corn and bread crust. The flavor has notes of honey, sweet corn, and a slight hop snap, bland. The mouthfeel is light. Molson XXX is an acceptable beer, slightly recommended.

Pours a clear light yellow with a large white head.

Aroma is corn adjunct and grain, alcohol and light citrus hop.

Flavor is fairly alcoholic and follows the aroma...sweet, corn, grain. But alcohol is dominant. Esters are present.

Body is medium full with medium carbonation.

Overall, more flavor than a regular molson, but the alcohol really comes through.

Picked up a six to try it out as there wasn't a singles option where i was at. Light golden color with a small watery head. Smelled a bit of grain and and malt with some alchohol presence. Tasted watery and malty with not as bad of a booze tone as i had anticipated. Malt liquor like mouthfeel with a decent bite at the finish. Not too bad and better than expected.

A - Foamy head that settles to about a 1/8th of an inch. Color is of a light IPA. Slightly orange and a little inviting. More that I expected.

S - Slight bready smell with a touch of alcohol and a touch of citrus.

T - Taste is mild but not completely horrid for a mass produced adjunct lager. Slightest hint of citrus may indicate at least a presence of hops.

M - A little hoppy tongue feel on the sides and a little alcohol burn in the finish. Not overly carbonated like the other Molson's that ive had.

O - NOT TERRIBLE for the style but I still couldnt finish it. It just lacks character and depth.

Pours a clear, gold color. 5/4 inch head of a white color. Great retention and slight lacing. Smells of grain, slight pale malt, rice, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Malt Liquor. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of grain, hint of pale malt, rice, and sweet alcohol. Overall, good appearance, but other aspects are lacking.

Picked up a couple of oil cans after an ugly night. Poured into a pint glass:

A- Clear golden color with a thick fluffy white head.

S- Not too bad. Kind of fruity, some green apples along with malts and floral notes.

T- Kind of like the nose but not exactly. Grainy, sweet, fruity but with some odd astringent flavors to it, can't quite make out what it is. A little bit of booze burn shows up now and again. Overall the flavor wasn't very strong, it tasted a little watery at times.

M- Thin and very carbonated.

O- Not nearly as bad as I expected. It reminded me of a Euro Strong lager just a little. Its nothing more than just a way of getting drunk fast and for cheap. Not something I'll drink often but I might revisit this on a drunken night.
