Eww, if you want cheap beer this isn't a good brew to buy as there are better tasting more refreshing ones out there. This is what mom and dad used to drink when I was little and as soon as I was old enough I tried and was greatly disapointed.

Old Style Pilsner from Molson Coors:

Look: Yellow, light carbonation, nice white bright head.

Smell: Corn, not really much from it.

Taste: Like a Blue Labatt, Corn , maltiness a really dry finish

Feels: Like a soda water,

Overall would I recommend it ? Sure, I would pick it up over Pasts or Busch if I was on a budget

A Saskatchewan classic, enjoyed heartily by flat landers and stubble jumpers alike. This used to be my go-to for a long time. Easy drinking, easy price. I did enjoy it in excess at a large sports bar and the waitress happened to be Czech so I did catch earful after earful about how it's not a true pilsner and only the Czech Republic makes proper pilsners, blah blah blah. It's an okay beer, honestly. Not much for nose or taste, some graininess sure, but pretty bland. Something I might buy if I was in the mood for and not a beer I'd turn down if offered. I wish I could still find the little stubby bottles, but cans seem to be the most prevalent.

Totally see-through. Really pale straw color with a surprisingly good foamy head and some carbonation. Smell of aluminum mostly, small malts smell too and a little fruity. Tastes of cereals and malt and fruity finish. Not bad actually for a macrobeer, I expected to hate it but it's not bad.

Poured cold from a can into a pint glass. Very pale gold with little head or retention despite visibly lively CO2 within.

There isn't a whole lot on the nose of this one. A bit of wet grassy fields, a smidge of corn husk and just a tiny whiff of a memory of a Belgian wit.

Taste is light but what there is is good. Noble hops in the foreground and balanced well with malt. Not getting any off flavors aside from a slight, and not much out of character, metallic afterthought. Overall though the flavor is good per style but as said, it is subdued.

On pace with the dialed down flavor, as expected, this one is pretty light in the mouth. Carbonation toes the line of too much, although on the other hand, on a warm day it goes a long way towards slaking a thirst.

Overall...I like all variety of pilsners for a variety of reasons, at one time or another. This one is certainly light, but if you're in the mood for a generally light beer, this one will get the job done just fine.
