A nice Octoberfest beer.
Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Golden yellow color with a short lived head and light lacing. Very pleasant floral sweet smell. Rich malty taste, a bit of grass. A bit thin but good overall.

12 oz. can poured into nonic
L: clear, brilliant copper, pushes up 1/3-inch head of beige foam, no major sticking or lacing
S: toasted grain, dirt, molasses ... at times the toasted grain aroma almost smells salty or meaty
T: similar to the nose but a pinch sweeter, burnt toffee
F: solid all-around, nothing out of balance
O: very good version of the style, much more grain flavor than any other Oktoberfest I've tried, but that toasted grain flavor works perfectly for the style
I had trouble with a few cans from my first six-pack -- they had a busted seal rendering the beer almost devoid of carbonation; the brewery offered me a replacement six-pack when I sent them a Facebook message about the issue, and the brewer said he suspects their canning line has a bearing issue that they will get fixed ... super cool people, very friendly and professional
