This place would be solid except for the service, which is continually terrible. I have walked out of this place multiple times after taking a seat at the bar and getting no service. At this point, I stopped going. The beer list is extensive consisting largely of flagship offerings with a sprinkling of some seasonals and one offs. For out of towners, it can serve as a really nice way to get a taste of the city's offerings. For locals, you have probably tried 97% of the beers on tap from your local favorite breweries, but serves as a decent centralized spot if you want to mix and match stuff from of your favorite locals over the course of a drinking session. Food is probably a couple dollars more expensive per dish than it feels like its worth, but the food is decent. Vibe here is fine, modern, maybe a little chic gastropub ambiance I would say. Overall, decent but overpriced food, solid but not sexy taplist, awful awful service....pretty much sums up this place for me.

Visited in Nov 2017.

Located in historic and trendy Nob Hill, from the outside this location doesn't look like more than another crowded hipster bar, but I was encouraged by their website, so I tried it out. The interior is more modern and classy than the exterior impression, but it is still a bit crowded and loud inside. It was packed on the night I visited, but my wait for a dinner table was only a few minutes. It was worth the wait. Service was a touch slow, but not bad considering how busy it was.

The beer list was somewhere around 100 beers, with an emphasis on local and regional brewers, but with many unusual and intriguing selections from around the world. I found myself wishing I didn't have an early travel day the next morning so I could have sampled a few more. The waiter was able to discuss the selections and told me which ones were no longer carried, "Because they just weren't good beers." Kudos for that! The beers I ordered were fresh and served in appropriate glassware.

The food was a key attraction. The menu was made up of somewhat traditional New Mexican dishes, but all with interesting twists and gourmet ingredients that made them special. Paired with the great craft beers, this is a foodie and Beer Advocate's paradise.
