Serving: On tap
Consumed: Aug-11-2019
Pours a vague hazy dark yellow with okay retention and a little cap of head.
Fruity hops in the smell (usual tropical suspects, orange pith) with a crisp bitterness in the taste and a pretty clean finish. Medium carbonation and a good feel/flavor from the oats. A nice beer overall .

Large, dense head (for a bar pour). It settles slowly. Two rings of lace have formed with minor spots in between. Hazy gold color.
A bit grainy to the nose. The smell reminds me of a Helles, not a pale ale because of the nearly nonexistent hop.
The flavor mimics the smell with an unmalted barley start to the taste but the swallow features a stronger hop bite than expected. The finish is like black pepper.

Poured from a fresh growler , 2 days old from the brewery.
A - Hazy goldenrod color. steady carbonation races to the surface, A thick white loose knit froth cap resides in full glory.
S - Orange is the dominant one here, add a very nice fresh pine to the mix, warm bread dough and a hint of apricot
T - Biscuit spread with orange marmalade, add a bit of pineapple, candied orange peel.
M - Medium in body, semi sweet start , then a quick bitterness runs through, a wonderful fruity linger balanced up against nice pine presence.
O - A very well constructed pale ale, interplay between the hops and a great malt/oat base is delightful. CArbonation is spot on with a quick to dry feel.

Had this on tap at Seymour. The beer had a murky gold appearance with a thin, creamy head. Great aromas of orange peel. The taste followed the nose with a really nice orange-citrus flavor. The beer was crisp with a light creamy texture. Overall, good look and aromas.

From a 32oz growler, filled at the brewery a couple of days ago. Served in a tulip.
Pours a just barely hazy, glowing gold with a finger-plus of soft, bubbly head. Retention is pretty good, leaving some decent lacing.
Nose is faint but nice and sweet. Yeast, soda crackers and jam.
Taste is bright and zesty, crackers and marmalade and a bit of the dank. Grapefruit juice, orange peel and zest, lemon rinds, candied citron, oily pine and a sort of dusty-oat-earthy-funk at the end. Really nicely balanced, with the dial set dead-center between sweet and bitter.
Feel is smooth and silky, medium bodied with ample fine carbonation.
An exceptionally well-made, tasty pale ale. I'll grab some of this every time they brew it.

Foundry Northampton MA.
A- Draught line to an Honest Weight becher with a semi hazy orange body. The cap is thick and frothy ascending above a cm high with good retention. Plenty of lacing wraps around the glass at each sip.
S- Fresh and bright hops off the top with good strength but not pungent and too in your face. The hops lean towards the citrus and tropical fruit spectrum with leaning a bit toward the former. Orange and grapefruit juice, hint of mango, tangerine and a hint of cereal grains.
T- Citra in the house with the focus moving just a bit toward the mango and peachy side of things and an herbal floral presence opening up. Grapefruit is big with orange, clementine, lime, dank, herbal, passionfruit pale barley and a touch of yeast bread. Some raw oats in the very end.
MF- Puffy and obscenely silky smooth on the taste buds. Carbonation is zesty and quite high but it acts to provide a great bite to support those bright hops. Medium bitter aftertaste.
Orangey beer from Orange yaaa. Smooth and drinkable pale ale with a citrus focus and some of the dank tropical stuff too that I wouldn't mind seeing on tap at any local establishment.
