Berliner-style weiss ale brewed with cranberries and ginger.
It's the season to celebrate family and friends, and we've brewed a very special beer. Tangy cranberry meets spicy ginger, making the holidays warm and bright. We look forward to sharing many more prosperous years with the rest of us.

12 oz can from Cullen (thanks buddy!), into Boiler red logo snifter.
No date.
This one pours a juicy watermelon color with a pink head of 2 fingers, receding rapidly to a half finger.
Aroma from the can brings ginger up front and tart cranberries following; aroma from glass gives more of a wedding punch-type aroma, with some added holiday spices.
POW! Ginger straight away, followed by a huge wallop of puckering tart cranberry, lime, and lacto bacteria. This thing puts its genitals on the table. Here it is. Nothing shy about this beer. As it exits, it leaves tailing notes of wheat bread and holiday spices.
Feel is carbonated, starchy, semi-creamy, and lots of acidity and pucker. Some hang-time with this one. Sticks to the palate. Low alcohol heat, if any.
Overall, this is one tasty beer, and it's a surefire way to find out if you have COVID or not. If you can't taste this beer, you might as well skip the nasal swab. It's a bit too intense for me, but it's definitely good.

Poured into a Duvel tulip.
Look: The body is opaque salmon-tinted peach hue under a white airy head the leaves a nice film with a decent sized collar.
Aroma: Spicy ginger blends in perfectly with tart cranberry.
Taste: Tart, tangy cranberry touched with vinegar, finishes slightly spicy from ginger.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light and dry.
Overall: So hard to pick out any flavors other than cranberry and ginger, but very refreshing and tangy.

Pours a murky orange-red with a finger of white head. Head retention is good with little to no lacing left behind. Aroma is cherries, spices, and plum. Flavor profile is holiday spices, nutmeg, cherries, and plum. Nice sour tartness to it. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with an effervescent feel. Overall, a holiday-esque sour that hits its mark well.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a 750mL bottle.

Still on tap at Crane in August. Poured a reddish color with a small, khaki-colored head. It smelled of cranberries and ginger. Nice tart taste with lots of cranberry and a hint of ginger.

crane is killing it right now, i have just loved almost all of their beer, and this is another nice one. brewed for the holidays i would have to imagine, but still drinking really nicely right now. its pinkish red in color, brewed with cranberries, and there is a real freshness and authenticity to the fruit profile here that i rally admire. its as tangy from the cranberry it seems as it is from the souring process, which has left this moderately acidic with some citrus notes. not to much fruit or lactic acidity here, its just right for a drink by the glass kind of beer. the spice side of this is subtle too, i can get fresh ginger, but its well behind the fruit and the yeast, and is only an accent at most. i also seem to taste a little orange and coriander, this has belgian wit elements underlying the sour, but i do not know if they used either of those. i wish it was more carbonated, this has a lot less life than many of their others, but is light and tangy in a great way, just needs some life. a cool mix of flavors on this one, the cranberry is great. i continue to be really impressed with crane, definitely becoming one of the premier midwestern operations...
