Pours a brilliant dark copper/amber with a fluffy khaki color head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is tart acidic funk, with some earth qualities and dark fruit. Taste is plum, fig, dark cherry, and a tart spritz of acidity. Mouthfeel is light to medium and drying, with a kick of fiz. Overall, this is a nice representation of a sour brown/gose like beer, and the additions of the holiday spices and plums give it a refreshing abd and slightly fruity character.

Pours a clear dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of bacterial funk, wood, sweet malt, hint of cinnamon, and dark fruit. Fits the style of a American Wild Ale/Belgian Strong Dark Ale/Berliner Weissbier. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a dryness and tartness. Tastes of bacterial funk, wood, sweet malt, hint of cinnamon, hint of citrus hops, and dark fruit. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, and blend for this amalgamation of styles.

Pours a murky brown with a finger of khaki head. Head retention is okay, with good lacing left behind. Aroma features caramel, toffee, spices, and raisins. Despite all the sugary characteristics, it remains balanced. Flavor profile is smooth and tasty - caramel, toffee, raisins, with a little holiday spice finish. Mouth feel is medium-thick, with a consistency right between grainy and fizzy. Overall, an intriguing brew. The balance in notes in both the flavor and aroma, as well as the smooth feel, keeps this beer easy and tasty to drink.
