The "lightest" is their Berghoff Lager, which is the training wheels beer for most, I'm sure. It's probably all malt, as it had a nice full body for an American lager and was very clean, with nary a hint of hoppy balance.

While better than expected, it's still a pretty average effort.

This pale golden lager poured with minimal lacing and an overly sweet corn odor - definitely a sign of an adjunct lager with cheaper malts. Not appetizing to start with! Taste is equally sweet and corny, even a bit cidery, though this could've been a less-than-fresh bottle I sampled. Not one I'd recommend.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with JCapriotti (thanks!).

Poured a lighter and see through golden color with an averaged sized white head. I'm straining to get some aroma out of this one - some grain. Tastes of grain and some sweet malts.

Golden yellow color, with a little haze to it. Has a small head that dissipates quickly but leaves a steady little lacing. I like the smell; fairly strong, with mix of grains and hops. Flavor is a little weak, though, but has good balance of sweetness and hops. Flavor almost too gentle, and covered up by the high carbonation. Aside from the (overly) high carbonation, it has good mouthfeel; light but not watery. A refreshing, but unexciting beer.

A -- Clear, pale straw-gold color with a pretty substantial, persistent head.

S -- Pretty light nose, some grainy malt and slight hops coming thru.

T -- Overall pretty nice; nothing in-your-face, yet malty enough to keep you interested and not so hoppy that you think about it every time you take a drink.

M -- Surprisingly Bavarian-like in its soft mothfeel -- light body.

D -- Great. Nice after work quencher with good flavor that doesn't make you think you're drinking a macro, very good.

Poured a slightly hazy golden color with moderate white creamy head.

Smell has a bit off-kilter fruity character.

Taste is also fruity, but simething is not quite right. Starts off nice, but some unpleasant after tastes start to show through.

The ending is OK, not great, But modestly refreshing.

A notch above a macro, but only a notch.

12 oz bottle pours a clear golden body with a small white head that leaves some skimpy patch lacing. Aroma has a bready malt sweetness and hints of floral hops. Light body has medium carbonation. Taste has a vague malt sweetness balanced by a fleeting spicy hop bitterness. Slight metallic aftertaste. Very average.

A-very nice looking beer bright gold but it has very little lace.

S-smells kinda sweet also a little metal in it.

T-this beer is sweet and has a bitter finnish it fills you up. sweet corn/bread

M-creamy not bad

D-I could drink this all night, not the best beer but I think its underrated and for the price you can't beat it.

Purchased as part of "build-your-own-six-pack" at local grocer. Poured your basic lager yellow, with a medium head. Fairly strong smell of I'm guessing corn or hops, seemed a bit strange. taste was also a bit strong for a basic lager, but nothing else really there to join the graininess. Smooth but quick to the mouth. Not too bad.

A - Poured out a clear, yellow color with a good deal of carbonation. It had a fizzy, white, short-lived head that left no lace.

S - It smelled of corn, grain adjuncts and a touch of malt.

T - A bittersweet taste of corn and grains. No real hop or spice flavors.

M - It was relatively crisp and smooth. A light-bodied beer.

D - It is sessionable, but there are many other beers I would chose before this.

This beer was poured into a pint glass at 41° from a 12 ounce bottle with no apparent date information. Two fingers of head were produced from the pour with slight lacing. The beer was clear and pale gold with limited carbonation.

Crisp clean hops were sensed during the pour but subsided somewhat later during my smell attempts.

There was a sweet honey malt taste with a minor hop presence in the background. Sweetness really dominated with additional tasting.

This beer was light as could be expected with caramel sweetness hanging around for just a little making it refreshing and inviting.

I was surprised by the sweetness and different taste than the usual lager. While this is not an overwhelming beer it is one to keep in mind for those hot summer days when you need a thirst quencher or you just need something a slight cut above at a good price. This was picked up as part of a mixed Berghoff sixer for $6.99.

Poured into a standard American pint.

Light straw with a soapy thin head that evaporates to no lacing.

Aroma is of corn and syrupy malt.

Flavor is metallic and corny with a tiny bit of hops. Crisp malt character but that metal taste follows very strongly into the aftertaste.

Mouth feel is average, not very much like a lager mouthfeel but kind of like a cream ale.

Drinkability is average only because the taste is not the greatest.

Pretty disappointed in this one. Normally Huber puts out better than I experienced with this beer.
