Clear gold and no head retention. Aroma is stale cereal, cleaning products, dumpster and apple peels. Flavor is....don't ask...nasty...with a lingering oxidized apple and wet garbage finish. Feels like a light beer. Overall, dumped and never looked back. Come on people, this is undrinkable at any price point! *Mic drop*

Why is eeveryone such a hater? This beer serves its role at its price point! If you paid more than $4 for a sixer than the issue is not with the beer, but with your purchasing location. Not the best light beer I have ever had. not the worst. Still tastes like more than water! If you dont like cheep beer then dont drink this one. If you like cheep beer then get you some Good Ass Beer!

Appearance: Clear light golden in color, with a small, coarse white head, which utterly vanishes within ten seconds, or so.
Carbonation is slight, and there is no lacing, whatsoever.

Aroma: Peculiar aroma of chalk and vanilla.

Taste: Opens with an odd, chalky note, and a sweet corn flavor. There are notes of honey and cooked corn, as well. A faint note of burnt caramel underlies the taste. Finishes with a lingering note of grassy hops, chalk, and slight notes of honey.

Mouth feel: Smooth and full, quite soft.

Drinkability/notes: Purchased for $3.99 for a six-pack of twelve-ounce cans, so no room for serious compliant. I would not buy it again, though.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a South American-style Pilsener glass.

They should change the name by dropping the word "Good", then you'd have an accurate description of how bad this beer is. How it gets a 2.15 score is a mystery. It has no redeeming qualities.

generic looking can, generic taste. very bland very watery this is not a beer. it is beer flavored water. I seriously doubt it is even 2% ABV. Very cheep too....4.99 for six pack.

Rhinelander Good Ass Beer, 4.2% ABV. Pours the color of used beer, with a one finger white head. No perceptible nose, and taste follows - pretty watery and bland. Light carbonation, OK mouthfeel. Overall poor. The best that can be said is "inoffensive", and certainly not the worst tasting beer I've had. Ironically, Badass Beer is rated higher than Good Ass Beer.

Taste: lack lust bite, some age might have contributed to it, but it is pretty water even for a lite beer. Mild nose. Pale straw color, clear, tiny head of foam. Lite body. Not living up to the name.

Never in my life have I seen such a tall head fall so fast. Almost overflowing to start, and then, within literal seconds, just nothing. No head at all. The body is pale yellow, almost straw colored, with full transparency. It looks like a beer, basically.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the aroma was pleasant. But it's in a sort of funky, weird way. It smells like a Best Buy. It's got clean aromas and plastic, like a new TV. Faintly trailing are DMS and corn.

I can't fault the flavor. Clean, floral, with some cracker and creamy corn. It's sort of like a Miller Lite but with more flavor. Dry grain finishes the profile. It has all of the aspects of the old fashioned Cream Ale down tight. Easy.

Feel is like water, only lightly carbonated. Only way you can tell it's beer is the slight drying on the palate afterwards.

Overall, for a light beer, it's decent. I was expecting way worse. 79 cents a can, well that seems about right. Try it if you haven't, you might like it, but if you don't then chances are you didn't spend much on it anyways.

Random code on the bottom of the can but no date.

Appearance: I've seen some clear beers in my time, but this thing is on a whole other level of translucent. Gold tint to it with basically no head. Just some white bubbling around the edges.

Aroma: Some malty/adjunct sweetness but that's about it. Not unpleasant.

Taste: The same sweetness from the aroma paired with a decent amount of clean hop bitterness. The description on their website claims that there are notes of "Hop" and "Brown Ale", which I'm guessing is the sweet, somewhat toffee-like flavor but it tastes more like the second runnings of a cream ale mash. Too smooth of a finish for the style. Aftertaste of some persisting sweetness. Decent flavor for 4.2% ABV and likely has a high FG.

Mouthfeel: Light in body but with a syrupy quality that makes me question the sessionability. Low carbonation for the style. The sweetness gets cloying very quickly.

Final Thoughts: For $5 or $6 bucks a six-pack it's not the worst deal, but spend another $3 or so and get a lager or pilsener made by one of your local breweries. Would I drink it again? Meh.

Was given to me I'm assuming as a gag gift. Has a jackass on the can and I know why. Pours clear with a small hint of yellow. Smells like bud ice or old Milwaukee malt liquor. A terrible excuse for beer. Couldn't drink this even on a hot day. Tastes like the smell of old pig feed and dirty underwear. I feel like the jackass on the cab for drinking this junk.

Reviewed per BJCP 2015 style guidelines

Look - Clear, medium yellow in color. Poured with a nice fluffy head which faded to a thin film, good retention though.

Smell - Sweet earthy malt. Low level fruitiness. No hops.

Taste - Very crisp, light, dry. Low bitterness, more on the sweet side but still very dry in the end.

Mouthfeel - Very light, with low carbonic bite. Good level of carbonation.

Overall - Good value at $5.99 a 6-pack. Overall favorable impression of the copy. Will drink again.

Terrible green Apple off flavors. Cheep get drunk beer with low abv which seems counter productive. I love almost all beers but this was complete crap.
