This is absolutely the least expensive beer sold in the United States. I just picked up a 48 can case (12oz) for $10.99 at LIDL's.

The beer has a slight acidic taste, but is well carbonated, and a light lager style. This has more flavor than Coors Light, Bud Light, or Miller Light, but does have the acidic after test not found with blander, more popular light lagers. At 4.2% alcohol, this is well worth the money. And yes, there are much tastier beers at LIDLs and elsewhere, but this is a beer that is as bad as previous reviewers.

Don’t mistake this beer for a quality craft beer. This is a get you drunk cheap beer. The aroma is reminiscent of a frat house bathroom. The beer starts smooth and finishes with a slight piss aftertaste that disappears after 2-3 beers. There is only one way to serve this beer ice cold straight from your cooler in your truck bed while tailgating. Beer bong optional but highly suggested. If you want an artisan craft beer stay away. Go pay 25 bucks for your 6 pack in the hand blown glass bottles. If you want 48 12 oz American made aluminum cans to pregame for an amazing football game and hopefully celebrate your teams victory sprint is calling. If you end the day puking in the Waffle House parking lot while waiting on your Uber you did it right.

Local Brewing Co. "Sprint Light"
16 fl. oz. can, "BEST BY : 04/05/2018" and sampled on 07/01/2017
$4.79 / six-pack @ Lidl, Virginia Beach, VA

Look: Fingerprint-through-the-glass clarity. Straw-gold body. Bubbly bright white head. Head retention and lacing are both poor.

Smell: Mildly grainy adjunct malt, some apple-like fruitiness, minor dull herbal hops. It smells a bit like what you might expect from a malt liquor.

Taste: Moderately sweet malt is balanced by underlying herbal hops that appear in the finish along with some higher ethanols. The use of adjunct (corn, sugar, whatever...) is obvious. Lightly bitter, some sweetish malt lingers in the finish.

Feel: Light-medium in body and gently crisp then smooth across the palate.

Overall: Not particularly well made to begin with, a high fermentation temperature is clear. The use of large amounts of adjunct then doesn't help it, but it's acceptable. As a light beer the hop character is also fine. Given that this is a price-point beer you have to expect some of that, but it's actually not any cheaper than some of the better made, larger market budget beers available (Genesee Light, Hamm's Light, etc.).
