Nothing special here, but they have to compete with Jupiler I suppose. This was bought for me, I certainly wouldn’t have ordered it myself. Bland pale lager.

On-tap at Waterfront Ale House, New York, NY

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down, consistently leaving a short head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet, bready malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of bready and biscuit malts along with notes of sweetness and hints of grassy hops. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but seems like it could use a little more hops.

Maes tastes like it suffered from malnourishment during birth, and consequently didn't get the attention it needed.
