Stopped @ end of VT Beer Safari to add some more gems following all the scores at the 6 breweries I visited. Place was busy with a lot of new inventory arriving. Staff were very friendly but mostly occupied with the deliveries or sales register. Beer section is removed to one side of the building, but one guy did come over / very friendly/offered help. Good vibe... they were clearly just busy.
Excellent selection of Vermont beers as well as a decent cross section of other NE and some national stars. Pretty decent European/international choices. Much on shelves; judicious use of limited # coolers.
Enjoyed that you could pull singles from packs.
Most important... I was able easily score a few bottles/cans from other VT breweries I wasn't able to visit. And ones I’d never see at home.
Glad I got there.

They brag that they're Vermont's number 1 beer store for biggest selection and this is probably true, but their bottles and cans aren't always the cleanest and/or the youngest on the shelves. What makes up for it is the Lawson's bottles on Fridays, get there early or check Lawson's website to see what they're releasing that week. Also, if you get there early, it'll be easier for you to get the bottle, as the Bevy only lets out 50 bottles on Fridays and lets the others out on Saturday. Heady comes on Wednesdays and the prices are the same everywhere in the Winooski/Burlington area. They have a growler station now with some interesting beers.

just updated my score. was up there recently and the service was really poor. after having waited for 2 hours in line, the folks managing the release were really disorganized and did a very poor job of tending to those that had waited the longest for the release. unfortunate.

Went on a Thursday morning for Heady release.
Big warehouse kind of buildning, with not much of a vibe at all, it's a store.
The selection and quality are amazing. If you're looking for beer from Vermont, well it should be here, same goes for a lot of New England as a whole, as well as major stuff from out west. They also had a pretty impressive array of European beers.
Staff was friendly and helpful, but pretty hands off. I had done my research beforehand, so I didn't need help, but the staff made it clear that all I needed to do was shout. Jen also helped me out a lot in the planning for the trip, via e-mai.
Basically, if you're in the Burlington area looking for beer to bring home, come here first.

I'm biased since I work here part time but I was a customer long before that. Owners Jen and George are always willing to go out of their way to help customers find great VT beer. Staff is loaded with beer geeks and the selection is second to none in the state. Cheers to the Bevie!

In my opinion Beverage Warehouse is the finest stop for craft brew near Burlington.
They've got a growler filling station with 6 taps that focus mainly on local (and often, unusual) beers with 1 or two other interesting beers (i.e. Mikkeler) thrown in. They constantly change so you could go back almost day to day and find new stuff.
They've also got what I feel is the best selection of local beers anywhere around, and like most other shops they post the times that they get their deliveries so you can try to get your hand on the stuff that goes quickly (check out their website, the information is very detailed). With that said, even if you can't get that special beer (Focal Banger, for example is currently only available in bars) you still shouldn't be disappointed as they've always got a pretty decent selection of other stuff from the likes of Burlington Beer Co., Hermit Thrush, Lost Nation, Zero Gravity, Crop/Idletyme, Lawson's, Frost, Stone Corral, and so on.
There's also a huge selection of other domestic craft brews, and imports (including one of my favorites, Hopfenstark from Montreal, CA).
The prices are very competitive, and the service is very good (although they can get very busy at times and then you're mostly on your own). For me it's a must-visit.

Recently visited for the first time. The people that work here are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I was looking for local beers that are not available in my area. The guy helping me asked a bunch of questions about what I like and then steered me to local micro-brews. I could not be more happy about my visit. Can't wait until I am in the area again.

Very impressive selection of beers, with a lot is beer-sharks around. But everyone was courteous and got what they wanted. Recommended for their food selection.

god these guys are awesome, and their releases give me an opportunity to get beers I cant find anywhere else. with the addition of the new growler bar offering even more interesting and rare beers, this place is unparalleled. for locals it may not be the best place to get heady or sos... but for out of towners it absolutely is. and if you have the extra cash to spend while your there picking up heady or lawsons, your sure to find other awesome VT beers including hill farmstead collaborations, tribute IPA, frost beer works, lost nation, .... as well as other great NE and west coast beers. much love to this place and the people working there, top freakin notch!!

Visited Saturday morning, April 9, 2016 for Heady Topper and Lawson's drop.
V: It's great for a large beer store. The folks in line were great, anyway. Employees seemed to enjoy their work.
Q: Clean and they keep moving stock for freshness.
S: Several registers open, they move the lines quickly.
Sel: Absolutely ridiculous. Biggest selection I have ever seen and they make great efforts to get in-demand items to the largest amount of people.

Its pretty much THE beer store, of beer stores, here in Vermont. Amazing selection of local brews, but certainly not at all limited to them. Staff is wildly knowledgeable, and very helpful. They keep a very updated Facebook page for those of you looking for Lawsons and Heady drops. An absolute must stop, if you are in the greater Burlington area.

Just amazing service, visiting from Quebec, Scott took the time it took to introduce us to stuff we hadn't even heard of. Never thought I'd be able to score Triple Sunshine, thought it would be sold out, but they asked my if I was looking for anything specific, I asked for Heady and SoS, they handed me a Triple Sunshine!

A little run down and there doesn't seem to be any organization to how the beers are displayed. They do have a wide variety of local, regional, and national craft beer, so it's worth the time to go through the entire beer section.

One of my go to places to go to for most amount of bottles/cans. When I'm on this side of town, I love this place for the singles. I don't have to pay for a whole sixer of something new that I'm unsure about when I come here. I'm always treated with great service though often asked by someone if they can help me, I usually just say, I'm looking thank you. Still, I'm impressed. Sure the place might not look like a "happening" stop but hey, random Lawson bottles on Fridays, Heady on Tuesdays, and the rest of the selection, uh...I can always find something there I haven't had before.

I love this place!
I took my family on a last-minute getaway to Burlington this year, and the day we were leaving, I thought I would hit a local store to find some local beer. I wasn't hunting Heady, but accidentally walked in (to the end of the line) at a distribution day with a bonus of Sip of Sunshine. Made it through the line twice, ended up talking with the staff for at least a half hour, and came out with some beers they didn't have out on the shelves. Such nice people, everywhere. Not the crabby people hating on beer travelers, but friendly people interested in other people's interest in good beer. I will make sure to visit this store any time I am in the area.
