A thanks goes out to the incredible woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can, and mine says 6.5% abv on it. Has a slightly hazy golden/violet color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of blueberries, some tartness. Taste is of blue berry, citrus, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Welcome back to my Happy New Summer in the Dark with a Beer in the City Sunday (Week 757)!
This Summer was time well spent here at Chez Woody, allowing me to winnow through the backlog & assemble lots of brewery horizontals for each week's NBS. For insCANce, this week's foray into Asbury Park, NJ's Dark City B.C., including this beer as a part of The CANQuest (tm).
From the CAN: "Mosaic India Pale Ale w/Blueberries & Milk Sugar".
This sounded really good on the face of it, plus it was CANtract brewed so it had been (at least) filtered. Good! Perhaps less explosive as a result. I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug since I had no idea what to expect. It foamed up nicely to form just under two fingers of pinkish, fresh-spun cotton CANdy-like head with moderate retention. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Pinkish-Amber (SRM = N/A) with some floaties in evidence, suggesting that this one was not filtered, either. No problem! Nose was redolent with blueberries, like a liquefied blueberry muffin. Ooh. Maybe I'll have blueberry waffles for breakfast tomorrow! Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was very fruity, especially of blueberries, but not exclusively. It had a slight citrusy tang and the malt worked well with the lactose to create a sweetish breadiness. Dang, but this was really good, but did it qualify as an AIPA? Not really. I am going to suggest a ChANge to a Fruit & Field Beer, which is more appropriate, IMHO. I am also rating to that style. Finish was in the Twilight Zone between semi-sweet & semi-dry. It was a bit of an unexpected treat, but you might be headed for disappointment if you want a hoppy AIPA. YMMV.

Pounder can into a tulip appears copperish in color mildly tinted towards purple with a white cap that fades leaving a wall of webby lace.
Aroma has a hint of blueberry atop herbal to grassy hops with some sulfur.
Taste is pretty much your run of the mill herbal to catty ipa with grassy to pithy/rindy bitterness and sulfur. The blueberry and lactose is void.
Medium in body with modest carbonation its meh.

Opaque/cloudy and of grapefruit color. No head to talk about.
The smell is not very strong, somewhat difficult to find actually. Slightly citrus like.
Strong hoppy taste, sour aftertaste.
Not too bad, but not sure if I would have it again.

Poured an unexpected purple color and difficult to compare to other beers. Poured from tap into pint glass. Carbonation visible but almost no head. Great fruity citrusy smell and smooth taste with little bitterness on the palat afterwards. Don't be thrown off by the intended purple color and enjoy.

16 oz. can
Very fruity, fruity malts, blueberries, citrus, lightly tart. I didn't realize this was an IPA to be honest; lightly tart and very fruit forward, not super hoppy. Overll a good beer though.
