11.2 oz (GREEN >_<) bottle into a wine glass.

A: Pours a clear golden color. The head is a finger high, with a white shade. Its texture is surprisingly creamy, and even has some decent retention. A thick ring of lacing is left behind, due to how sticky the froth is.

S: Unfortunately, this about a 7.5/10 on the skunk scale. Sure, I also pick up some malt sweetness and touches of Saaz grassiness, but the skunk pretty much takes this over. What a shame - although, beers like this usually taste pretty good even when they're skunked (see: Urquell, Pilsner).

T: Fairly sweet for the style. There's a combination of malt sweetness and even some cereal grain, although diacetyl is somewhat low for the style (not a bad thing!) There even seem to be touches of white wine sweetness lingering throughout. It could also use a touch more hoppiness. While flavor-wise it's closer to PBR than Urquell, this could still get the job done if so inclined.

M: Not as bone-dry as I enjoy from a pilsner, but nonetheless, it does a good job of quenching one's thirst. There is a nice crispness to it, along with decent carbonation. Still, I can't help but wish it were even more effortless.

O: This tastes 'cheaper' than something like Urquell, but it isn't exactly bad, either. Still, considering I could easily get the former at the same price of this offering, it's hard for me to want to revisit this.

2.85/5: A poor man's Urquell

A: Light lager colour. White head with dainty lacing.

S: Soft lager smell. Nothing much.

T: Very mild compared to other Czech lagers. Very little dankness. Very soft lemonade in the finish. Slightly chlorinated and plasticy. Light mouthfeel with soft carbonation.

O: Not up there with the big boys.
