12/30...pours light copper, mostly clear, residual white foam and lacing. Slight hoppy nose, light pine. Burst of hoppy bitter, grapefruit citrus flavor. Juicy. Mouthfeel is creamy. The bitter surrounds and is quite tasty. Nice sessioner.

I tried the Chieftain at the brewery and it was solid. It poured a clear golden with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus. The taste was evenly balanced and easy to drink. There was nice citrus tones and not overly bitter. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a very good sessionable ipa.
