A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. It's truly a micro that finishes crisp, clean, and smooth. 38 IBUs

(chilled shaker pint pour at Blue Moon Tavern in Seattle on 8 May 2026... review from recollections)
murky pale amber liquid, looking not like a hazy, but merely an unfiltered dry hopped freshy; poured almost to the lip of the glass, little foam... on the nose: navel orange rind, Special K flakes, and maybe some hints of citrus blossom and white bread crumb... on the palate: remarkably light on malt character up front, with the acidic citrus hop character prevailing, though it did have a soft swell of domestic 2-row tea in the finish... rather light and spritzy (owing to the cold glass/pour) with a subtle fluff midway which could just be hop resins; it feels more filling than it ends up being; dirty crisp... overall: flavorwise, not too exciting, but given its light approach and fruit-forward flavors, I could see why it has mass appeal; glad I finally tried it after 3 trips to Seattle in the past 2 years (2551)

Pours a slightly unfiltered golden color with a sudsy off white head that provides nice ringlets of lacing. Beautiful APA.
The nose features citrus hops and a nice biscuity malt aroma, and that’s where the taste lands, with a crisp, dry mouthfeel.
Boulevard Pale Ale started me down my beer nerd journey and this is another really good one, IMHO.

Enjoyed on tap at the Horse Brass Pub in Portland, OR
Poured into an imperial pint
o- mild hopping over grainy malts throughout; thin mouthfeel; decent enough flavor but underwhelming overall, unfortunately; was hoping to enjoy it more

Pint from draft at The Diller Room in Seattle. The “5” scores below are simply absurd, likely homer or nostalgic reviews. This is okay, weirdly fruity like a Blue Moon. Almost artificial citrus flavor. Maybe it’s just an old keg. Hop presence is almost nonexistent, maybe a touch at the end. Disappointing to say the least.

Don't seem to remember anything about Georgetown Brewing 's beers other than the ratings I gave them which is on paper list. Just had again 6-22-2025. Pretty mild beer, good malt flavor and that's about it. No real hop taste or bitterness. Kind of a so-so beer.

While I enjoy a lot of types of beer, the American Pale Ale has long been my favorite. Manny’s is a perfect example of it and has become my “go to” beer since it is on tap at many establishments throughout the Puget Sound area where I live. It’s funny to read reviews by guys who are clearly IPA nuts. To each their own but I enjoy a nice hoppy bite without feeling like I’m drinking from a bottle of Pine Sol.

It's simply a very well done and flavorful beer. If I could only drink one beer, this would be that beer.
