Slightly hazy copper. Smooth creamy nose with just a tad light oaty malt. A bit biscuit with graham cracker and other herbaceous vegetable hop brightness. Finishes lightly dry, but smooth and easy with a slight dry clay earthy aftertaste with a touch of copper. Nicely balanced. Nice beer, but there are a lot of other IPAs out there I like better. Doesn't live up to the hype in my opinion.

I re-reviewed this beer because the prior review was on a growler that had been opened for 4 days prior to sampling. This sample was tasted in a 6 ounce portion in a glass.

A:. I poured a murkey yellow with a rich deep white head that was sticky and lingered before settling into a nice even cover over the top of the liquid.

S: It released the aroma of sweet lightly roasted malts and hints of citrus. .

T: It began with an initial flavor of roasted malts followed by a lemony and grassy bite of hop bitters. It finished with a sourness that lingered.

M: It was light bodied and refreshing.

D: It is a light bodied brew with a modest ABV and reasonably balanced between malts to hops making it a candidate for a session brew. However, the hoppy aftertaste and would make other IPAs better for a long session.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent looking pale orange to light brown color with a slim white little head. It quickly dissipates leaving barely any lacing.
The smell starts off with a sweet biscuit to grassy and semi-citrus hops. A little bit of pine underneath.
The taste takes all of those previously mentioned flavors and adds them nicely. A semi-sweet aftertaste leads into a nice sweet little finish.
The mouthfeel sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation feels right for an APA.
Overall, this is a pretty good APA and definitely goes well with food. I also had it with a big ol' sloppy BBQ sauced bacon cheeseburger and even that went pretty well. I'd have this again.

Poured into ice cold mug - nice start. Nice light amber color and 2 finger head. The taste is very mild, but I like it a lot. Nice malty balance with slight fruitiness, but more hops than I was anticipating. This is a great go to Pale Ale I am seeing more in Oregon (where the selection is generally OR or nothing. Not to heavy on the alcohol. Will have again
