A personal favorite of mine. I love having this beer when I'm out at the bar with co workers. It's got a great satisfying taste that makes it real easy to drink. Smoother than its similar metaphorical cousin Mac N Jacks. Fun fact it actually has caramel in it. Not sure why but it
definitely tastes fantastic. I'd say it's a must have.

Served On-Tap

A — Pours a medium dark amber hue, almost brownish in the glass, the slightest bit of haze here as well. There is a puffy white head on it, spotty and inconsistent lacing.

S — Smells of sweet malts and a bit of hop, little bit earthy and fresh.

T — Tastes of nicely sweet malts as well as a decent hop balance. There isn't a ton going on here, but that is alright I suppose.

M — Light-Medium bodied, this is highly refreshing and drinkable.

O — OK overall, this is a gateway or entryway to craft beer, its just the tip of the iceberg, which is fine by me.

This is the first beer that I have reviewed away from my home. I took a notebook...
Served on tap at; The Spanaway Exchange Tavern(est 1890)

Pours a hazy brown body with a half inch white head. Good lacing

Faint floral smell, seems about right for a pale ale

It had a slightly bitter aftertaste that was spot on for me. Just the right amount of hops !

Mouth feel was nice. Good carbonation (not sure if this was because it was on tap)

Very tasty overall. This may become my "go to" beer when I'm out and about this summer. Would be very refreshing on a warm day.

Paired it with a quarter pound hotdog and they seemed to go well together

Copper colored pale. A bit more on bitter and less floral. Thin. I could drink it again if thirsty on a hot day.
