A: Moderate citrusy-piney, grassy hops, accompanied by some grainy malt

A: Hazy, amber/orangish color with a thin white head that has moderate retention. Some lacing evident.

T: Moderate citrusy-piney, grassy hops, with moderate malt sweetness. The beer has a moderate hop bitterness and a semi-dry finish.

M: Med-light bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: Alright. The beer is sessionable, however it finishes a bit sweet and has too much of a lingering hop bitterness.

Absolutely gorgeous beer, cloudy amber with medium creamy head, good lacing all around the glass. Aroma of malt and fruit, Taste is slightly sweet malt, bread and more fruit (apples?). Abrupt finish, medium weight body, easy to drink.

On tap in Seattle airport.
This was in a pint glass.
The appearance had a hazy orange brown body, no head, no lacing, no transparency. The smell had a strong grassiness up front, lightly hopped. The taste was mainly bitter as the hops take over, grassy bitter aftertaste, sticky finish. On the palate, it sat about at a light to medium, fairly sessionable, carbonation is spot on for the style and for me. Overall, good APA I’d have it again.

On tap at Restobar 1285 in Florence, Oregon; this Pale ale was golden straw with a slight haze, subtitle hops in the nose and an inviting creamy mouth feel. The hops are laid back an do not make you wonder if this is an IPA as they are gently supported by the malts in this pale. Not your typical Northwest hop slam pale, Manny's is refreshing, very approachable, and paired well with the steamed littleneck clams I had for lunch.

Just one of the Georgetown brews I am starting to like... a lot!

Not great, kinda skunky, might just be the place, trace in seattle, but underwhelmed, kinda bland for a pale ale.

This ale has outstanding color. It is a glowing amber. I'm more interested in how a beer tastes but still the color is amazing. There is a perfect balance of biscuity malt and hops. The hop character is such that I would have guessed it was dry hopped but I don't think it is. Thick head of foam for a pale ale. I have had this numerous times on tap and from a growler fill. It is always delicious. Much like Mac & Jack Amber, this is a ubiquitous choice in the Seattle area for restaurants with a limited beer selection, and a godsend because it is about the finest pale ale you will find anywhere. This is hands down the best pale ale I have tried and a tremendous value at 8 bucks for a growler.

A nice pale ale, slightly on the darker, maltier side but with nice balance. Hops are not in your face but are pleasant: piney and spicy, most likely cascade driven.
