I am sampling a cold 12 oz can poured into my pils glass. the can is date stamped 12 / 16/ 2022.
The beer pours a champagne clear gold color entering my glass. But the beer rests slightly darker in my glass. A minimal, dense creamy bleached white head foams up about 1 cm. This foam fades to a thin surface layer soon after the pour is complete from the can. I do get a bit of windowpane lattice when I take a sip.
Aroma is grassy and herbal tea hops with a little bit of saltine cracker note in the background.
First sip reveals a light body with very fine and prickly carbonation. This carbonation is very sharp!
Finish is dry after each swallow.
Flavor is hints of cracker and a bit of honey note, which then rolls to some spicy and herbal tea hops that linger with a bit of a bite. Never any hint of the ABV.
This is an easy drinking pilsner, the carbonation is definitely a little harsh for me, but otherwise its a fine drinkable beer.

12oz can at share. Golden pour, mild cloudiness, foamy white head. Aroma is malty, biscuity. Taste is more grainy, bready malts leading up to a crisp finish, mild bitterness. Smooth.

Pours a Budweiser gold with a decent foamy cloud on top reducing to ring and some spotty soapy lacing. Nose is sweet corn, baked bread, and cracker. Taste follows suit with a subtle bitter note on the finish and an almost green tea like taste in there. Feel is crisp and refreshing. This is a very drinkable beer and I’m going to give 3.75 across the board.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet, as many of the things as I've had over the years. 12oz can (dated 1/19/22) poured into 16oz tulip. poured a bright, clear, clean dark yellow color with an inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma is typical and expected from the style; nice earthy grains and floral hops. A basic 'beer' scent.

Very similar on the tongue, everything you anticipate in the style, with no surprises.

The body is a slight bit fuller than is usual, but so much as to be detriment. It smooth, and had a semi-dry finish.

Drinkability was very good, I often have these around as fridge beers.

Overall, a solid version of the style. Worth trying if you haven't, and great beer to take along to a cook-out, or for the game, or yard work.

Canned 7/26, less than three weeks ago. The beer is light golden yellow, with a big white head, and lots of bubbles. My glass could star in a beer commercial. I'm no expert on pilsners. I switched over to darker and hoppier beer styles about 30 years ago, so I actually don't have a good base of comparison. This seems well made, and somewhat generic. It's biscuity, with some hops. It's a crisp refreshing beer, especially good on a hot summer day.

12oz can, canned on 05/25/2021, served in a can glass. Very pale straw yellow in color, crystal clear, with a thicky foamy white head. Flavor has a crisp hop profile with bright, almost citric flavors reaching the roof of my mouth via the potent carbonation. Flavor has a bit of unfermented grain character along with just a hint of biscuit. Finishes clean. Cold and refreshing.

Georgetown Brewing has put out some stellar IPA's, naturally, I expect the same with this pilsner. The beer is 42 degrees and served in a pils glass. The pour of the beer created an airy, foamy, and frothy head. The bright white beer left lots of lacing on the glass as it slowly dissipated. The color of the beer is SRM 3, pale straw with pale gold hues. The beer is clear and brilliant with an occasional bubble floating to the top. The beer is above average for a pilsner.

I get crackers, spicy floral hops, and cereal grains. Nosing further, I smell a subtle malty sweetness and toasted bread crust. The aromas are subtle and faint.

Interesting hop profile, I get subtle floral, white pepper a touch of pine, smidge of grapefruit, and a hint of herbal. The hop flavors are more pronounced in this pilsner than I tasted. The malts are light, crackers, and bread crust. I am not sure but, it tastes like a corn adjunct was added.

The mouthfeel of the beer was carbonated and slightly astringent.

The body of the beer is light, medium-plus carbonation, and medium-light finish.

The beer seems closer to a pale ale. The hop profile is a bit aggressive for a pilsner. The beer is crisp and refreshing.

Canned on 09/10/20. Poured into a pint class.
I live up the hill from this brewery and I really want to like this beer and support them, but this tastes more like an IPA than a pilsner. It's too dang hoppy for me. It has a nice golden color, good carbonation and a foamy head with lacing. If you like your beer strong, hoppy and bitter, then give it a try. If you prefer more balanced and subtle flavors, or if you're looking for the classic pilsner taste, you should look elsewhere. If it was an IPA, I'd give it a 3.5. But since it tastes more like an IPA , I give it a 2.5.

Just five weeks old. Poured into a classic pilsner glass, shows proper head, lacing and aroma. It has a solid taste, dry and no off notes. Light touch of hops over clean malt flavor. As previous reviewers have already mentioned, it's hard to make a pils head and shoulders above the rest, but a well crafted one meets the need. Good to have on a warm summer afternoon sitting on a shady deck.

12oz can served in a tulip. Dated 12/17/2019.

Pours clear golden with a moderate sized, coarse head and lots of carbonation. Smell is hay and yeast and biscuity maltiness.

Taste mostly malty, biscuit and a sort of jasmine/honey sweetness.

Mouthfeel is lightish, dry. Overall, not the best pilsner I've ever had, but not bad.

a tasty and drinkable, but very generic pils. this could have come from anyone with a clue what they are doing in the brew house, not a bad thing, sometimes thats true of this style that all the good ones taste kind of the same, but there really is nothing here to set this apart, and the quality is a step below the ones that are iconic and timeless, so its just sort of another one to me. yellow in color, pretty clear, lazy white head on top but lots of carbonation. aroma and flavor show some mellow noble hops, fresh but in the background, a little snappy aspect added, but not a ton of character from them, a simple, clean, crackery european malt base, and a lager yeast that seems real familiar. the flavor has more yeast to it than the nose, which i like in the style, and overall this is real dry, so nicely done on the fermentation and conditioning. subtle grassiness to it, dry cereal dust. some clean minerality as well, like a fancy bubbly water. refreshing but not overly light on the body, best when ice cold. the beer these guys make always seems sort of classic to me, and this one does too. good, even real good, but not great enough to be memorable.
