Lucille. Ahh, Lucille. A bit dirty, just how I like 'em. Beautiful inside and out, but just edgy enough to be looked past by most.

She wears bright orange, and like her personality,is almost transparent. She loves wearing that white hat, but as the night goes on, it's the first thing to go. But you're carrying for her, and you can't avoid seeing it the whole time you're together.

She wears a simply wonderful perfume. Intoxicating with just the right levels of citrus and pine. Like the glamorous cab driver she is.

And that first kiss. One you'll never forget. She tastes just as good as she smells. And looks even.

She's smooth, and light, with a bitter side that slaps you in the face if you don't treat her right. Her sweet side comes out from time to time as well, which keeps you coming back for more.

Lucille is one hell of a broad. But don't bother calling her. Shell call you, if you're worth it. Cheers.

this was definitely the best of the beers i had from georgetown brewing. its a nice light and balances ipa, super fresh tasting from the tap, a lot more refined than their bodhizafa and a lot less malty than their mannys pale ale. tons of fresh citrus notes the the hops here, relatively uninterrupted by any malt, lemon and grapefruit, very sort of classically northwestern while at the same time never really getting all that bitter, and staying dangerously drinkable for its abv. a little bit of an oily feel to it, but pretty light, with fresh cut pine and grapefruit in the finish and just a light cereal complexion from the grain. i think i taste some mosaic in a dry hop context, light pineapple right in the center, and even a vanilla flash right after that, its more unique than i am giving it credit for, but in a subtle way. its well carbonated and on the drier side, simple but very well made beer, which seems to be their thing. in the northwest, there are a lot of more extreme and new school styled ipa types to pick from, this is, after all, the motherland of hoppy beer as far as i am concerned, but something a bit classic thats high quality and very drinkable is always welcome, and thats exactly what we have here. less distinctive i think than others, but still i think unique enough to stand out, and there is something to be said for being a classic...

On tap at the Tacoma Craft Brew Festival.

Outstanding beer, with the quality apparent from the first sip. Not just a good color, but the brew practically glows. Smooth taste, lots of body and gravitas. Manny's is the main beer from G-Town but this is its big sister.

On tap at the horseshoe at all places.

A pours a amber color with a 1 finger head that dissipates quickly.

S notes of pine and some grapefruit.

T the taste follows the nose with more pine and grape fruit.

M its about average for an ipa.

Overall this is a solid ipa but here on the hop heavy west coast it kind of gets lost in the shuffle. But all in all a good drink.

Grabbed a growler at the brewery. The folks at Georgetown say this brew is a "coming regular" but they are still tweaking the recipe. So, I'll review what they're currently putting out.

Pours a very dark hazy copper, one fingered head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is acidic and hoppy, pine and citrus overtones. There is substantial (and pleasing) maltiness at first taste, bready, followed by a strong bitter hoppiness with pine and citrus overtones. Substantial mouthfeel, this is no watery beer, drinkability is average for the style.

Not a bad IPA.

Very good, easy drinking IPA. Another hit for Georgetown along with their Excellent Bodhizafa IPA.

On cask at the Elk in Spokane. Very smooth and while it has added carbonation and no lacing, it has a more rustic flavor which brings out the hop profile. I found it very enjoyable

Nice hazy orange beer with just a token foamy head. Nose pops sweet orange with just a touch bit earthy, veggie. Taste is a mouth attack of like sweet tangerine and carbonation. There’s a bit of backend bitterness just before a thoroughly clean, crisp exit.
