Nice location in the Rhino district close to a lot of breweries and pubs. Has some unusual and rare variants among the 14 taps and in cans; for example, I had an Hirchata Yeti that I really liked on tap. Medium sized tasting room, with an area outside that has food trucks at certain times.

Located in Denver's burgeoning RINO District, the Barrell Bar should not be confused with the downtown brewery (See Review). This is a small, comfortable taproom with a great vibe, friendly staff and an incomparable selection of Great Divide crafts, along with a selection of barrel-aged beer. The Barrel Bar makes for a stop in a your RINO Pub Crawl, in that it is across the street from Mockery Brewing and around the corner from Crooked Stave.

Much more modern feel than their ballpark location, nothing against it whatsoever. Very comfortable feel with plenty of space both inside and out on the patio. Rotating food trucks are awesome. Wouldn't mind seeing a little more barrel aged stuff available and exclusive to this place. Definitely worth a stop.

Cool vibe and similar to the other location but with a better selection as this location had the BA Old Ruffian and the special Laws Whiskey BA Yeti. I prefer this location due to the tap list.

(#39 of 49) We stopped here to try their beers during this Denver-area mini pub crawl. The pub is located in the packaging and barrel-aging facility that is separate from the main brewery that is situated not far away. This is an older light-industrial neighborhood near the downtown area, but it looks like the brewery recently built this structure since everything about it looked newer than the surrounding buildings. The taproom is a small space when compared to most pubs.
We ordered a sampler flight of 4 of the 14 beers that were available. Some of the beers on the tap list were ones that are easily found in bottles on store shelves, so we didn't need to sample them. All of the beers was graded in a range from 3.75 to a 4.5 (Whiskey Barrel-aged Hibernation). Six-packs, crowlers and growlers are available to go. There is no food served here, and I overlooked asking if food trucks may come here. If not, a great solution is to walk about a half-block down the street to the building where Crooked Stave Brewing is located. Both of these breweries are so good that you shouldn't visit one without going to the other. (Mockery Brewing is also a half block behind Great Divide, but they were not yet open when we tried to visit there.)

Not sure why they made a new space that's even smaller than the original location, taproom-wise I mean, although it is a massive facility. And there is patio seating here at least.
The beers here are good and seems there are always two to three barrel-aged beers so that's cool. Otherwise not really much different than the original location, which is to say you'll find plenty of good beer and a good vibe.
A cool thing here is that they sell crowlers to go of most beers (except the BA beers), have beers to go and there's always cool swag on sale.
Another plus is there are many breweries close by, including Mockery a block away.
