Can dated (my educated guess, first week October):
Pours a dull, pale yellow gold with a little dirty aspect to it. Nice head, lasting in an etched glass, with moderate lacing.

Nose has an oat nose to me, but some accent of grain from the sugar-producing side of a beer. Citrus, more rind than anything, comes next. In retrospect, this foreshadows the taste.

The taste is balanced, like a good APA. The citrus rind and pith are noticeable up front, but not overly bitter. A medium thick maltiness balances it, but also provides a softer feel. No taste sensation grabs hold, so balance is what I perceive.

As such, there’s no extreme juice or bitterness that makes me think NE or IPA. A nice, smooth, NE-influenced pale ale I would go with, and one I liked.

Pours a hazy dark yellow with high, soapy foam.

Smell is fruity and exotic with tons of mango and a hint of vanilla.

Taste is tropical and fruity, once agan with plenty of mango, now joined by some passionfruit. Very soft bitterness makes this very easy to drink.

Mouthfeel is m edium, well carbonated.

Overall, another very good IPA from Mikkeller SD. Not very bitter, but very fruity.

-hazy yellow tap pour with a bright citrus nose and a 1cm foam cap. Lemon and and pine are prominent flavors. The mouthfeel is full and slightly dry. This is a very flavorful ale

mikkeller can do no wrong right now, this is a killer pale/ipa hybrid type ale, juicy hoppy and very drinkable. awesome label too! slight haze to this, but clearer than some of their other recent hoppy beer releases, and holding over an inch of airy white head in the glass. lots of fruitiness from the hops in the nose, pineapple and grapefruit, both the mosaic and the simcoe on display equally, with just the faintest cat pee thing going on from the mosaic, and powdered lemonade as well. the flavor is real fresh, a crackery dry malt base with just a bit of body to it, a fine backdrop for these hops, which seem largely late kettle and dry hopped, as the juiciness is huge, and fruitiness not quite as bright as the nose but still robust, and the bitterness very mellow, just enough to crisp up the finish. canned pineapple, white grape, and grapefruit rind to finish as well, and rushing carbonation keeping it moving. this is new school but with nice balance, and is super dialed in as they go. nothing new in the flavor with some now very common hop types and a simple grain base, but they are assembled expertly, and i would gladly drink this one all day long...

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Cloudy light golden pour with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Great thick rim of lacing.

S: Citrus and fruit. Grassy and floral.

T/F: Biscuity grains... medium to light in body. Strong fruit flavors... citrus/grapefruit, tropical fruits... pineapple and mango. Some grassy/floral tones. Well carbonated. Bitterness subdued but present. Lime coming in at the finish which is sticky and tropical.

O: A strong representation of the New England IPA style. Delicious and crushable.

Looks like a nice cloudy wheat beer, however, the piney and foral hints of the hops are delicious note. The overall feel of the beer the can be enjoyed with any food or especially a spicy dish. The smell is not is limited, but that doesn’t take away from great flavor of this beer.
