The beer pours out a full on hazy golden yellow color, with 1 finger of white head------------- the aromas are of oranges and alcohol(light aroma)------------ the flavors are of oranges, basil, apricot and grapefruit pith, the beer has a full mouthfeel with a light bitterness on the finish----------------- overall this beer was good the nose was really light but the flavors made up for it, and this is no session ipa the alcohol let's it's self be known that it's a big bitch

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/16/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.1%. Overall this is a fantastic NE DIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink, with the very mildly bitter/drying finish. Amazing soft mouthfeel. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank hop complexity; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

This one is proper and naughty. Like Simone Simone with her claws out, I’m feelin’ this one. Cloudy like Jeff Sessions brain waves, this one is so murky it might rain on you for days. On the tongue is tropical, so tropical, late Orson Welles would be privileged to shoot a film there. At the end of the day, at the end of the hour, at the end of the minute, and at the end of the second, I like it.

Picked up the 4pack of 16oz cans at the local gas station for $18.99

Normal pour into American pint glass produces a Half inch or so of white head, body is pineapple juice color, hazy/murky(duh), minimal lacing

Aroma is light funky cannabis with a ton of tropical fruits but dominantly mango and pineapple sweetness

Taste is the slightest touch of bitter but mostly just juicy citrus flavors with a solid bready backing, honestly feels a tad faded but it’s only sat two weeks in town at most

Feel is almost fluffy as it goes down effortlessly, a slight carbonation but just the right amount, long finish

Overall I love this thing, maybe it’s the lupulin love but this thing smacks, call me crazy but I feel more intoxicated from one of these then i usually do from the same serving size of the same abv..

L: Hazy, cloudy orangish straw with a small head thaf left nice lacing.

S: A mild but very pleasant and inviting mix of tropical and stone fruits. A very little bit of citrus as well as floral hops.

T: Wow - zesty, full fruitiness from the aroma, more floral and dank hops, really perfectly blended.

F: Had to give this the top score here, never had a 10%+ABV beer that felt this smooth, soft, easy, booze nowhere to be found, bitterness just not all that big a deal. Not heavy. Really crazy.

O: One of the best really strong imperial IPAs I've ever had. Dangerously easy brew, so smooth and balanced. Mikkeller SD seems to be improving with each release. This is a top shelf gem.
