Served in a snifter glass from the can.

Appearance: dark brown tinted black body with a tan head which initially rose maybe half an inch off the body.

Smell: Deep coffee and warm brown sugar aroma which just lingers.

Taste: Sweet complex brew consisting of molasses, vanilla and hints of a chocolate infused espresso. Potent and smooth all at once.

Mouth: Sticky icky beer, medium carbonation with a full body a mocha finish. Hard to forget.

Overall: Awesome pick up, needs another can to go with because honestly I finished the first one so fast. Always in a glass...salud!

Dessert Beer Geek pours a thick motor oil black with a half of finger of khaki tan head that dissipates, rimming the glass with no lacing retention. The aroma is nice on the nose, with a sweet cocoa, fudge, warm chocolate syrup and hint of vanilla frosting. The taste is dominated by the cocoa, but does drink very sweet. It's got a smoothness on the palette, as the vanilla sneaks in, as does the heat of the alcohol as is goes down. Overall, it's a worth a try, big and one of the sweeter stouts I have tasted.

Look: Near black in appearance, with little head. Minimal lacing.
Smell: Full of a sweet chocolate aroma. The chocolate is presented similar smelling to brownie batter. The vanilla blends well with the cocoa, with a slight warmness from the booze.
Taste: Follows the nose. Cocoa is the dominant force behind the taste, but the vanilla is detectible as well. There is a roasty malt complex to the beer as well, which blends nicely with the cocoa. Sweetness is also evident in the taste, giving this beer a frosting/brownie batter sweetness, which I am enjoying. As it warms, there is a bit of a bite to the beer, both in terms of alcohol and bitterness. The chocolate also mellows out to a warm inviting flavor.
Feel: Medium in body and weight. Somewhat syrupy texture to the beer. Carbonation is moderate for the style, but I wish it was a tad lower. Regardless, it is easy to drink.
Overall: I was very hyped for this beer. It might be the sweetest stout that I have had to date. The booze is detectible, but isn't off-putting. When it comes to fudgy, this beer is there. I can see how to some they might not enjoy it, but I do (I definitely have a sweet tooth). I am very grateful to try this, and I think it is worth a try. Cheers!

Shiny, gloopy ink black with a large, air-bubble pocked mocha foam that quickly settles to nothing but a thin ring.

Smell is sort of artificial, like an instant brownie batter mix, with dark chocolate chips and vanilla frosting.

That cloying vanilla frosting is present in flavor too, with a goopy dark chocolate that leaves minimal room for beery flavors. There's a sort of cherry almond in the swallow, and only the slightest hint of roast. It's tasty...but also difficult to drink much of. Ergo, the 16 ounce format is ill-advised.

This is quite sweet, sharp and sticky with an almost acidic sort of booze. A mild velvety fizz tries to mitigate this, as the finish is semi-dry with a sting of heat on the way down.
