Sampled from a 16 oz can. Appearance is more like a pils than a keller, might be filtered or centrifuged. Unfortunately the nose a lot more hoppy than a keller beer should be so this was an immediate turn off for me. The beer really has no traits whatsoever of a keller beer. That being said it is a pretty nice beer, crisp and clear with a nice head formation and retention. I would personally consider it a hoppy pils stylistically and that is the only reason for a lower overall score in this case.

Wow, for a lager variant this was surprisingly tasty and flavorful. Pours a nice golden color with abundant fluffy white head and some spotty lingering lacing with tiny champagne bubbles. Smells of malt, grain and also some faint floral hops. Tastes similarly, except the hops come through more and the grainy corn feel fades into the distance. Nice amount of caramel, bread and malt. Smooth mild thin mouthfeel, excellent carbonation. Another solid beer from this great San Diego brewery.

Pours an almost (slightly cloudy) clear light straw yellow with a huge white cap that lingers and leaves fantastic lacing. Aroma is faint biscuit and grains, a touch of lemon. Flavor is light bready yeast and citrusy hops. Feel is light and crisp. Overall a decent thirst quencher.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready and pilsener malts are present in the nose along with notes of yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of yeast that are more balanced with those of the malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very "chewy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The finish is rather dry.
O: The aromas and flavors of malts in this kellerbier resemble those of a Munich Helles Lager, so it's almost like drinking a yeastier version of a Helles.

Almost like sitting outside on a warm Summer's evening in Germany. Although a little lighter and less hazy than the archetype Keller beer, the moutnfeel and taste a true to form. If you want to enjoy something like you'd get in Germany, this is a nice example.

Look: Satisfying clear wheat/grain color. I achieved about 3 fingers worth of head from a non-aggressive pour. Moderate glass lacing leaving behind some rings.
Smell: full aromas of grains and malts with some citrus. Notes of lemon zest with malt sweetness, almost bread-like. Very pleasant smelling.
Taste: follows the nose. Ready/malt goodness, compiled with the usual grain flavor. The finish is crisp with lingering sweetness. Residual flavor is lemon and lime with malt sweetness.
Feel: nice weight and body. Leaves slick and sticky feeling in mouth. Heavier in body and weight compared to other pilseners, which is nice considering 5.4abv.
Overall: I am really enjoying this. Clean, flavorful and crisp. Highly enjoyable and worthy of a try. Has a nice feel to it. I am grateful to have tried. Cheers!

The beer pours bright clear golden yellow with a two-ish fingers of bright white frothy head (as shown in picture) on a non-aggressive pour. The head exhibits great retention, with above average lacing left on the glass. I would like to note that even after 20 minutes past opening there is still about 1/3 fingers of head sitting on top of the beer. The nose is relatively intense, with plenty of the those typical noble-hop notes that typically highlight the pilsner style. The taste follows the nose with overwhelmingly deep pilsner bitterness, and noticeable 2-row malt backbone (I think, please don’t judge too hard). The body is fairly light, and highly carbonated. There are bubbles everywhere in the glass, even 20 minutes after pouring it. I’ve been getting into lager type beers a bit more lately, and was happy to see this new offering in my go-to shop. I will refrain from rating this at the moment, due to my lack of experience, but it’s definitely a winner in my book. Definitely recommend this beer to all pilsner lovers, and would we be curious how more experience drinkers would rate this.

Pours a perfect golden hue like Norma Jean before she became Marilyn Monroe. Smell is of clean sexy grains and malt like Marilyn doing sultry things at Niagara Falls. Taste is large and in charge, very crisp with a sharp pilisher bite - unlike Marilyn in The Asphalt Jungle before she knew what she was doing. Feel... oh baby, it gives me a Seven Year Itch.

I suggest you get this now, my children, get it good.
