At one time, this place leaned closer to serving more Magic Hat, Long Trail, Rock Art and Otter Creek. But slowly and surely, Fiddlehead, Lost Nation, Founders, North Coast and even Heady show up now. Food has always been solid. Service has always been great too. So many places for beer in Burlington now-a-days and Church Street Tavern isn’t giving up the fight.

Nice low key bar. Good food and great selection. I had a heady topper and focal banger. Friendly and attentive service. I will definitely go back there next time I'm in Burlington .

Pretty small place with some outdoor seating during the summer months. Great place to get some food and have a couple beers, but not much of a selection of micro brews. They have the local brews, Magic Hat, Longtrail, Otter creek, Trout River, etc. They also carry DFH 60 Min IPA, along with a couple of others. But most of there stuff is all Macro Brews.
The food on the other hand is very good. Great food, and good service. But if you are in search of good beer, there are a lot better places in downtown Burlington to visit.

First of all: The Church Street Tavern Ale brewed by Long Trail is super good!!! A great brew to drink all night long. The tap selection drops off after that though. Switchback, #9, Long Trail Ale, and VT Lager round out the local handles. The rest is just macro from US, Canada, and GB. Bottle selection does not add much. Food is quite good. I really like the sweet frys. Service is usually on. Atmosphere is great in the summer because of the outdoor seating on Church Street. Lesser weather brings us inside to a bit of a cramped pub.
