Good Boy Stout brewed by
RJ Rockers Brewing Company with an ABV of 6.50% This American Stout pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color of this brew, is a dark brown color with a nice light brown head. This brew has the look of cola, not saying that is a bad thing. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is Rich with roasted grains and malts mixed with mirror roasted hops. There is also a slight sweetness in the smell of this brew. So far Good Boy Stout is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with lots of roasted, an smokey flavors. You also pick up a nice amount of roasted gains and malts. There is a super nice balance to this brew, there is nothing overpowering about it. I can't get over how smooth this brew is, it is really hard to pick up on the 6.50% ABV in this brew. The mouth feel is Roasted, Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Over all I am going to give Good Boy Stout a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity to. RJ Rockers Brewing Company did a super nice job with this American Stout.

Good Boy was the second of three stouts of a rainy day stout tasting/craving. (8 Ball, Good Boy, Duck Rabbit)
Very close to perfect, a little drier than 8Ball, and a little bit higher %abv than I like.
I did enjoy it A LOT. Smells and looks like a good stout should. Good Boy!
Not too chocolatey, not too coffee-like, and overall a very, very good roasty balance.
Highly recommended if you have not had one.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a very dark brown body with a diminutive, light beige head.
Smell: Chocolaty, carob aroma, a little bit nutty with a fruitiness akin to dates.
Taste: Robustly malty, with a good taste of chocolate, carob, and, as with the nose, it's a mite bit nutty. Moderately sweet. Dark fruitiness. Sugar-sweetened coffee. Restrained hop character only hinting of pepper and spice and with just a sliver of bitterness. Moderately roasty in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Lightly creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: Will GB make you cry out GD? Uncertain. BUT, it's a tasty, likable stout.

Poured from a bottle to a glass. Had absolutely no head with a bit of sediment falling slowly from the top. Appearance resembled flat cola. Taste was a bit more complex. Chocolate notes early, finishing with a hint of dark roasted coffee. This beer tasted better as it sat out. I'd recommend letting this one warm up a tad before drinking. An average stout.
