Our high gravity offering weighs in at 8.5% ABV and is delightfully loaded with malt and hops. This is an ale worthy of your sturdiest goblet or most treasured stein. Ring it!

Murky orange body. Thin ivory white head. Light bits of lacing. Bit of a spiked fruit punch aroma a la arogant bastard. A little pineapple. Some cherry. Light alcohol on the nose. Flavor is solid, but nothing really stands out. Some definite alcohol linering afterwards. Biscuity malt. Tropical hop flavors. Decent.

Malty. Poured a darker amber. No head. Some nutty hints with taste reminiscent of dark beer. Some hops though. What is this beer? Not for me but I can see why some may like it.

I live in a city that has over 40 breweries... but IMHO, this beer from SC is better than any offered here.

A cacophony of craziness. A schizophrenic beer that has no idea what it is. Hoppy? Malty? Multiple personalities at play. Beware.

12 oz. can from October 2020

Hazy translucent brownish amber, large varied bubble cream head,; spotty lacing, partial ring, no sediment or floaters.

Apricot, overripe pineapple, pine, honey, yeasty caramel aromas

Pine, citrus, bread, light brown sugar flavors.

Hop bite, good carbonation, light sweetness.
Brewer has always labeled this a DIPA, but I think the strong ale appellation is more accurate. This was my first time getting this in a can and I thought the hops were more vivid than the bottled version. Enjoyed it.

Not a bad double IPA. Nice hop profile, not too boozy. Decent beer after a day at the beach.

12 oz. can dated 3/26/19. keep re editing this because it's better each time. Best for slamming, not savoring or pondering. In which case it may reach 4 across the board .
Deep honey amber
Sweet floral honey malt aroma, alcohol maybe
Can come across very sweet/bitter 1-2, but when chugged it's great. Hang on though.
Feels good now, but ask me later, or tomorrow.
Overall, better now that I have had a few rounds with it. Not likely to buy again.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a glass mug.

Look is a hazy brown orange with little to no head.

Very light on aroma maybe a slight molasses coming through.

Taste initially is super sweet, but a grassy bitterness balances it out at the end.

Poured from a bottle into a glass.
Enjoyed on the porch with a friend.

Great copper color. Sediment. Sudsy head turned creamy. Retained well. A sweet malt taste with a hop bite on the finish. Most notably it's thick and chewy with a great mouthfeel. Quite good!
