Pours a dull lighter copper color with almost no head to speak of,aromas have some light roast and pumpkin pie spice,it's the best part of the beer.A thin watery feel leaves alot to be desired.Flavors are mainly of pumpkin pie spice and gets a little harsh in the finish.A drain pour for me....not a fan.

A golden amber colored beer, this one has a lot of haze and a soft white head. The aroma is very pumpkin-pie. It has some roasted pumpkin rind characteristics as well, but with a huge dose of pie spice. The taste is nice...some malt and a modest sweetness..and the combind flavor, in my opinion, produces a fine pumpkin ale. It is a very drinkable and enjoyable version of the style. Full body, but not overwhelming. Nicely drinkable.

A- pours very fizzy with a 2-finger foamy white head that reduces to a skim layer floating on top, clear and golden orange color

S- strangely enough I'm picking up witbier aromas of wheat and lemon, mid-palate kicks in with some ginger, cinnamon candy and ketchup, all over the place

T- sweet and malty with some ginger and straight alcohol, not picking up any pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavors at all, the finish adds a light astringent flavor with a toasty malt finish and more noticeable booze at the end

M- medium body with foamy carbonation and mouthfeel, big quaff of alcohol at the end

O- if I drank this in a blind taste test, I wouldn't have known it was a pumpkin beer. Flavors are just all of the palace and the booze is too overpowering.

Light, golden amber color.

Small head fizzles out leaving a super thin cap of bubbly white

Taste, you get spice, you get hops, like in a pils almost, then some cripsy carbonation, then more hop bitterness.

Too thin for my preference in this style. I've had lower abv pumpkins that had a fuller body.

Would not get again, the high abv seemed to be the selling point when I inquired. Not sure that warrants a flat-tasting, thin, pumpkin beer.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a hazy golden orange; small white head that fizzes out and leaves solid retention and not too much lacing. The aromas are pretty faint with hints of sweet caramel and subtle hints of spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. There's some sweet potatoes and yams in the mix as well. The flavors seem to fall flat and none of the ingredients used seem to shine. It's very earthy and slightly bitter and spicy. The malts seem to take a backseat. It has a very weird vibe to it, and I can't put my finger on it what the problem is. It's just not hitting. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied and it's very fizzy.

I'm personally not enjoying this one at all. I hate to say it, but this is one of my least favorite pumpkin ales I've encountered. It just doesn't come together. It's disappointing because I like RJ Rockers based off of their Bell Ringer, which is good stuff. This is a complete miss, in my opinion. Sorry.

I really enjoyed the drinkability of this pumpkin beer. There is just enough spice for you to want more. I enjoy it because it isn't as thick as others. It's an easy drinker when you might be thirsty. I also found this compelling, 7.3% while being an easy drinker. Beware of the pumpkin man.

Appearance: Pours a copper color with a very small head, leaving some lacing.

Smell: This is the part that I enjoy the most in pumpkin ales, but there's not much going on. Smell is subdued with very light pumpkin and spice notes.

Taste: More emphasis is placed on the spices than the pumpkin, and the spices aren't taken too far and work together to hide the alcohol taste. The pumpkin flavor doesn't taste fresh or interesting.

Mouthfeel: Thin/medium bodied with high carbonation. I think it's a bit too tingly on the tongue.

Overall: There are a lot of pumpkin ales out there. This isn't necessarily bad, but there's nothing going on that makes this worth trying. The alcohol is high, but everything else about the beer is small. This doesn't compare well next to craft beer but is better than some of the widely available pumpkin ales such as Shipyard.

Hazy golden orange beer. Thin head disappears quickly.

Spices and vegetal pumpkin aroma. Also sweet and malty.

A nice balance of spices. Some actual pumpkin flavor and a sweet malty backbone.

A velvety smooth mouthfeel. Medium to heavy bodied with light carbonation.
