I'm trying this beer off the tapper at Cugino's as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with tropical fruit and a spice blend. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Nice thick heavy hazy, medium sweet fruit but not too sweet with a little bite. Great label art! Orange color like the name would suggest, taste not particularly more orange than other fruits

They opened the doors to the Florida Citrus Commission with this one. Boom, out the can aromatics, and they didn't stray at all off target! Peel open the orange and find some hops and light resin that reminds of fruit pulp. Mostly hops. This is the hazy where creamy and sweet ends and bitter and juicy begin. A puckered flavor like an orange Sour Patch Kid, this beer is from 2016??

First thought on first sip is "woah, this reminds me Half Acre TOME is a great beer," honestly I just want to make that recommendation for lovers of this more limited IPA, because it's a special thing that a readily accessible (in Chicago) beer is such a remarkable achievement too.

And let me tell you, OJ Run is a remarkable achievement.

This review isn't about other beers, but wanted to drop that recommendation for those that love this brew, cheers!

Overall, this beer was way ahead of its time and we're lucky they still brew and distribute it. Hold the OJ, I'll take an OJ Run.

Fairly typical looking for a high quality NEIPA. Lots of rind and zest and floral bitterness, with oat malt and slight alcohol sweetness. Less juicy and more bitter and astringent than I expected from the name.

16 ounce can - $5.25 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Yellow-golden body, hazy with a foamy, white head. Powdery-looking lacing.

Smell: Redolent, raunchy citrus pulp with pineapple and mango chunks, strawberry snippets and jutting florals with an unsparing spritz of alcohol wrapped in a sheath of cushiony oats.

Taste: Tropical, citrusy with plenty of orange and grapefruit. Then, it hits with a sharp snap of bitterness amidst a stern citric quality. Perfumy florals, earthy dank element with a ramped up, resiny bitterness. Slightly astringent finish that wraps up with curt, cutting, pithy white grapefruit.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Smooth, oaty mouthfeel.

Overall: It'll do.

16oz can, dated 11.21.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.

The beer pours a very hazy and cloudy orange color, medium amber hues with a foamy white head, about two fingers tall with good retention and excellent soapy lacing. The aroma is pleasant, lots of fragrant citrus juice, wildflower, bitter pine resin, citrus rind, dough, and mineral water. The flavors are nice, plenty of juicy citrus and tropical fruits, very bright and floral, citrus peel, dank grassy green hop, pale dough, sweet yeast, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating and smooth with a heavier medium body that finishes easily and creamily with a lingering dry bite.

Verdict: A nice NEIPA from Narrow Gauge. Bright, juicy, tropical and very sessionable, what you want out of the style.
