Pours a cloudy hazy bright yellow color. Thin white head sticks around with some sticky white lacing. Smell has notes of sweet melon, lemon, and orange. Taste is sweet with notes of melon, orange, mango, peach and cantaloupe. Not much bitterness in the flavor but you feel it on the tongue as you drink it. Feel is light and drinkable, mild carbonation, smooth for double dry hopping. Overall a really well done IPA from Narrow Guage.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4", foamy, very long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.

S: A light and sweet aroma of dank hops, malt, citrus fruit and tropical fruits.

T: Tasted of a mild bit of malt (mostly in the finish), lots of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a good shot of dank hops (not overdone, though), and some tropical fruit (passion fruit). Surprisingly, the dankness of the hops isn't much of factor. This is a well-balanced, straightforward flavor. It's juicy and sweet, but also with a hoppy bitterness.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a dry, sharp finish. Medium-bodied.

O: In general, this is a well made, likable beer. Drinkable.

Received as an extra in a trade.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a super murky milkshake dark golden hue with a one finger white head that faded slowly to leave a creamy blanket. Excellent retention and lacing.

S - Aromas of melons, tuti fruti gum, oranges, super faint pineapple. Light grassy notes. Little bit of malt sweetness.

T- Taste is similar to the nose. Decent melon, some light lemony citrus. Little bit of juicyfruit gum, nice orange juice and light zest. Really faint tropical pineapple. Bitterness is incredibly low.

M - Mouthfeel is really, really nice. Crisp, little fluffy. Really good.

O - Overall this was a very pleasant DIPA. Really nice head retention, solid nose and a wonderful mouthfeel. I wish there was some more tropical notes going on though. Still, this was an excellent DIPA.

Appearance: Arrives with the milkshake look, the liquid goldenstraw colored; the head was thin but left a few strands

Smell: Mango, orange and peach, with hints of melon and pineapple

Taste: Juicy flavors of mango, peach and pineapple forward, with some melon tones underneath; orange citrus builds through the middle; juicy finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A nice fruit salad of an NE IPA

Light copper in color with moderate haziness. There's a fingernail of off white on top. Heavy lacing. The aroma is initially an assault of citrus and then floral hops. The mouth is sticky and chewy.

Drank from a 1 pint (16 fl. oz.) can purchased at Fort Point Market, Boston, MA
Served in a tulip

Beautiful appearance. The hazy, golden yellow body was topped by a foamy, bright white, inch-tall crown that fell to a bubbly collar. A thick, drippy wall of lacing cascaded down the sides of the glass.

The aroma was amazingly fruity and bright initially. Big generic tropical fruit presence. Fairly sweet. Juicy Fruit gum came to mind. Perhaps some honey drizzled mango too. Within seconds, the nose changed dramatically. The sweet tropical fruits subsided and citrus notes took over. Loads of juicy orange flesh. Later, the mango reappeared. Touch of peach as well. There was also a subtle dankness.

The flavor was all citrus from start to finish. Juicy orange and tangy tangerine notes dominated. Maybe some clementine as well. Zesty citrus peel notes were also apparent. Lemony in the center. The beer finished with notes of pithy white grapefruit and a bit of bitter grapefruit rind. As the beer sat, subtle peach notes appeared.

Outstanding mouthfeel. Medium-light bodied for the style but super creamy and smooth. The liquid contained a finely beaded but fairly aggressive effervescence that fluffed up beautifully on the palate. Amazingly soft and plush.

With its juicy fruitiness up front, dry bitterness on the finish and terrific fluffy mouthfeel, Double Dry Hopped Fallen Flag reminded me of many of the beers in Tree House’s Bright series. Overall, a very solid offering and a nice break from the plethora of milkshake-y type IPAs out there right now.

Poured a cloudy orange body with minimal head but lace ring down the glass. Aroma had a touch of oil, pine, bits of earth and mostly an acidic/orange aroma. Smooth, floral, earthy, mild bitterness from acidic hops is balanced with a somewhat heavy malt presence and touches of sweet/tropical fruits. Slightly bitter finish compliments overall beer and this is an enjoyable brew.

Orange juice with a big eggshell head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is oranges and mango. Some grapefruit and pineapple. Taste like the aroma. Lots if citrus and tropical notes. Moderate mouth feel with just an edge of bitterness. Juicy. Great NEIPA. Just a touch more intensity in the nose would be nice.

Pours a hazy light orange with thic, soapy foam.

Smell is earthy and grassy with some dankness to it, an notes of citrus and melon.

Taste is grassy upfront, with some dank earthiness. Continues with some juiciness, citrus, melon and passionfruit. Rounds off with a nice, balanced bitterness and nice hop bite.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a very nice IPA, that was maybe a little bit too earthy for me.
