Picked up some cans of this at the release. Canned on 12/27/19.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thick two finger mocha head that fades to leave super sticky side lacing and a dense, creamy blanket.

S - Aromas of nuts galore. Tons of hazelnuts and peanuts with ribbons of chocolate, like nutella globbed into a glass and then chilled. Nice roasted chocolate malts with flashes of an almost caramel sweetness. This certainly lives up to being an imperial peanut stout for sure.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with more of that thick, heavy roasted peanut and peanut butter flavour. Almost gooey peanut butter. The chocolate is pleasant, nice flashes of roasted dark malts. The coffee is there but more of an acrid roast than actual coffee subtleties. A little bit of possible fusel alcohol as well that mixes with the acrid notes. Finish is a lingering bitter and acrid flavour that is rather off putting though.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little creamy, but sits a bit syrupy with again more flashes of that double digits ABV.

O - Overall this was a solid imperial peanut milk stout. Worth the long line waits...that I don't believe it is. It's also a chore to try and finish this entire can. It's only 10% but it's so rich and heavy and boozy that I might as well be trying to finish off a full pour of Black Tuesday or something, which is a shame considering how well executed the peanuts were in this beer.

Pours a large tan foamy thick head with med retention, some sticky lacing, jet black beer

Nose brings loads of chocolate peanutbutter, crunchy peanutbutter and hazelnut notes, generic nutty aromas, with some dark chocolate cocoa, light roasted malt and nougat like, touch of baking spices and some caramel

Taste brings more of the same, bitter dark chocolate, roasted peanuts and chunky peanutbutter as well as mild hazelnuts, creamy dark chocolate and lactose sugar, a touch of roasted bitterness and mild earthy spicy hops, medium bitterness, drier but mild sticky finish, more peanuts and chocolate

Mouth is med to fuller bod, rich creamy lush, medium carb, a touch of warming alcohol

Overall pretty good, loads of peanuts and chocolate as expected, just more of it than the original, bitterness came through more than I expected but for a stout that's not a bad thing, but def an intense beer

poured into a teku glass via can dated 12/28/2018

color is a motor oil black

smell is peanut butter, chocolate and soap?

taste is chocolaty peanut butter with some alcohol burn at the end

carbonation is low

mouthfeel is light, even for a milk stout

some decent PB flavor here, but its a bit on the light side..not the worst PB Stout, but far from the best..middle of the road
