Good brew! Don’t even taste the fact that there are shellfish remnants involved in the brewing process somewhere. Nice texture. Sweet roasted malt. Not as robust as expected, but that is a good thing for how alcoholic it is (8%).

Not quite black, but darker than dark brown for sure it's got that beautiful crisp stout body on lock. Decent head of fluffy brown head. Settles in shortly to a thin veneer. Decent not great lacing.
Nose is fresh with sweet chocolate notes and roasty with maybe a hint of brine, though it's entirely possible that's an artifact of expectations.
Roasty malts with a pleasant rounded edge. Chocolate syrup but not overly so, with a balancing bitter that's less coffee than it is faintly molasses? There's certainly a touch of brine to the finish here as well. I don't have a lot of experience with oyster stouts, but it reminds me of the same sea-water salivation inspiration of a kelp stout I had recently.
Smoothe if a bit thin, with the briny salivation coming in strong at the end and leaving a lasting almost-dry bitterness to linger. Fine points of soft carbonation help to augment the briny element mentioned above.
Dig it, would definitely drink it again.

16.9oz bottle served in a large snifter. I'm pretty sure @mr-jj gave this to me.
Pours black with a big fluffy coarse brown head and moderate active carbonation. Smell is roasty, malty, yeasty.
Taste is lighter than I was expecting. Only the vaguest hint of saltiness in the aftertaste. Mostly a mild, slightly plummy sweetness up front. A little bit of coffee and chocolate mixed in there.
Mouthfeel is smooth, slightly thick and sticky, very effervescent. Overall, good stout. I think I've had one oyster stout before, and it was a little too oyster forward. This one is not oyster forward at all, if you ask me.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: super dark brown with plenty of haze and a finger of tan foam. Not bad.
Smell: rather dry, roasty malt aroma. Nice.

They call this an Oyster Stout, and claim that is is actually brewed with the mollusks. Hopefully there's not much actual oyster taste, but maybe that's the peculiar but enjoyable aroma. The brew is very smooth with a creamy mouthfeel. Color is very dark brown with plenty of dark beige foam in the Timmermans goblet.
This is quite sweet and loaded with roasted malt. Dark caramel with some licorice is the big taste. There is so much dark malt it's amazing, but then the coffee flavor, a bitter dark roast comes on. An finally there's a bitter aftertaste. This is an unusual but intriguing beer.
