Place is laid out well...separate dining area, expansive L-shaped bar that overlooks the pool tables. Solid and varied beer menu (they had what they said they would have online). Knowledgeable bartender. Tuesday is trivia night... lots of fun. Only had an appetizer, but it was good and the food that passed by was tempting. Stayed a lot longer than I had original planned...and will definitely be back.

Excellent beer list for this area. The day I had lunch there you could find quality draft beers from CT craft breweries such as Kent Falls, Back East and No Worries; regional craft breweries like LIC Beer Project, Kings County Brewer's Collective, Singlecut, Stillwater Artisanal, Banded, Newburgh, Berkshire and Allagash: and national craft breweries such as Toppling Giant, Firestone Walker, Sierra Nevada and Mikkeller. And almost every beer could be had for $7-8 for a pint, or $3 for a 5 ounce tasting.
As for the food, I had their classic hamburger, which was quite good, and cooked to order (medium rare - I'm always surprised on how many restaurants screw that up). The food menu is mostly the classic sandwiches and salads, but done well.

Always have a couple Kent Falls freshies on tap, alongside some other local options, and for a good price. As long as it's not absolutely slammed, and sometimes when it is, the bartenders are super attentive and are happy to pour multiple samples if you're waffling over a few options.
Probably my favorite spot in Danbury.
