Deep, purple color with a pink head that quickly disappeared. Strong aroma of berries with black currant dominating. Moderately tart taste, full of berries, and with slight balancing sweetness.

Packed full of flavor, its quite fitting for the beer to be packed also with a wordy title. Fruit flavors of blackcurrant and boysenberry and then loaded with vanilla softness, its quite amazing what sour ale has become thanks to the competent team at Southern Grist Brewing Company.
Absurdly rich with a inky mauve color, the visual creaminess of the beer is evident upon the pour. As a pink stained froth builds, a poignant perfume of mixed berries, vinous scents, backed with citrus and tropical fruit begin to align on the nose. As its spicy scent grows, the early sip splashes the tongue with booze soaked berry cobbler. Pastry sweet, bready and creamy, the beer's early impressions are of pulled candy and taffy.
Once the tastebuds saturate with the beer's explosion of juiciness, a jolt of red wine brings a tangy sensation of gooseberry, dry cider, lime, black raspberry, black cherry, and then a medley of pineapple, passionfruit and kiwi of tropical punch. Lightly peppery and sour, the beer's piquant balance is vinous, sprucy and of curacao liquor.
The roundness of vanilla brings a pleasant milkiness to the late palate to bring a candied balance into the flavor picture. Radiant, rounded and smoothy sour, a finish of red berries and cream come with a medium length aftertaste of sangria and oaken red wines.

This is one of the best fruited gose style beers i have had. The vanilla on the nose is a nice mix before you plunge into the big super fruity beer sour. Overall spectacular

16 oz can poured into a snifter. A strikingly bright pinkish-purple color with a thick bright pink head. Aroma was boysenberry jam and sweet vanilla. Slightly tart on the first sip, revealing boysenberries and black currants. The vanilla was there but much less prominent than on the nose, countering the tartness. A slightly sweet vanilla finish. Medium-to-full bodied with a hidden ABV. Really nice.
