Introducing our first Cellar Cyndicate exclusive stout of 2022, Spiritual State. This beauty is a blend of two whiskey barrel-aged brews: one aged 13 months in Rare Breed (12-year-old Wild Turkey) and the other for 13 months in Bernheim Original (7-year old wheat whiskey). Once it emerged from the depths of the barrels, the beer dictated the adjuncts that would complement the complexity of its double barrel-aged flavor profile. It called for Ghanaian cacao and Himalayan pink sea salt, so that's what we added. The result is a pitch-black brew with a velvety thickness that stains the glass; it exudes smooth bourbon character with notes of fudge and a light salinity in the finish.
