Not a bad coffee stout. Not a Founders Breakfast quality but not bad.

Nice coffee stout. Fair amount of medium roasted coffee flavor but not overly bitter with a fairly clean, quick finish. Medium bodied. Worth having again

Nice dark looking pour, some ruby on the edges in light. Light brown head that laces nicely. The nose is aggressive bitter coffee. That pretty much overpowers any other aromas. The taste follows suit, the intense, bitter coffee is the star. I do like that flavor, but prefer it a bit more subdued in a beer. The body is only medium and the carbonation is a bit high for the style. A solid coffee stout, particularly if you like the aggressive bitter versions of the style.

Insanely, ridiculously, out-of-control voluminous tan head (my pretty soft pour filled literally the entire glass with just foam). Kinda hilarious, it would get a 4.75 except it takes too damn long just to get a sip. Lots of acidic java on the nose, weak faint roasty malt. The flavor is almost entirely acidic, cold-pressed coffee flavor, bitter, with virtually no stout notes whatsoever. Feel is light-medium bodied, the everlasting head provides a nice lip-pillow.
Great if you like carbonated alcoholic cold coffee, bad if you wanted a coffee stout.

Brighter and lighter than I expect out of a coffee stout, definitely enjoyed

Pours dark with a massive tan head that leaves plenty of lacing. The smell is huge coffee with a bit of bitter dark chocolate and the taste is exactly the same. There is a bit of burnt bitterness at the end which I didn't truly enjoy.

On nitro tap at a local watering hole.

Look- Dark brown with a thick and creamy tan head from the nitro pour.

Smell- Very chocolate forward with some coffee notes following.

Taste- Dark chocolate goodness followed by some coffee notes. There is a little bitterness in the finish.

Feel- It's very thin for such a decadent beer. The nitro while producing a creamy head, doesn't do much else to help the feel.

Overall- The aroma and taste have characteristics that remind me of Founders Breakfast Stout. The thin nature and feel is where it falls short of being world class. Still a very tasty beer that I would drink again.
