One of our favorites gets a DIPA remix. Pours hazy yello with thin white foam. Aromas of dank pineapple tropical fruit. Pallet has notes of bubblegum and tangy citrus. Brewed with pilsner and Vienna malts, fermented with a unique blend of yeasts, and hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Galaxy, and Eldorado, and Mosaic Dust.

Can from AJ’s in Rochester. Not bad. Liked the hop and malt profile, but nothing seemed to take off. Forgettable with just too many good let alone great DDH DIPA’s out there.

Well, it finally happened. After a CANcerted effort on my part, The CANQuest (tm) has now exhausted its backlog of Interboro CANlaboration CANs! No problem, though, as there is still a huge backlog to run through, including Interboro-only beers, CANtinuing with this one. Onwards!

From the CAN: "Double Dry Hopped Double India Pale Ale"; "Come Visit Us and Our Tasting Room".

I was very curious about this one, even before the Crack!ing open of the vent. Was it yet CANother Hazebro? What would the future bring? I CANmenced a slow, gentle C-Line Glug in order to find out and when noting totally untoward occurred, I backed off & down. This allowed it to form just over a finger of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with the faintest of haze. Frankly, I would be willing to chalk it up to a chill haze, given my reefer's internal temp. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose was tropical fruity with an underlying pine/eucalyptus coolness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, a little on the light side for the style. The taste was very much of pineapple upside-down cake with pink bubblegum & pine/eucalyptus. I wonder if they didn't sneak some Hefeweizen yeast into this one! Yum. Man, these guys just keep bringing one great beer after CANother. Finish was semi-dry to dry, right on that cusp of my enjoyment WRT this style. I would have preferred it to have been solidly dry, but that's personal. YMMV.

Yellow, no head.

Aroma is blah. Very light wafts of veggie

Straw ,grass. Weird chemical , funky.

Thin body and flat.

Not good. Suprised how well this is rated by others.

Canned on 7/23/2019 and poured into a pub glass. It pours a hazy, bright honey-orange color with a foamy, bright white head and significant lacing. The smell is highly floral; like walking through a greenhouse of flowers. There are also notes of orange/tangerine, lemon, overripe melon, and onion. The taste opens with tangerine and tart lemon, along with bubblegum and sweet malts. I'm also noticing the advertised "unique blend of yeasts" that is difficult to describe. The taste has a flower petal quality. The Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy hops provide lots of fruit but the Eldorado hops add a strong dose of bitterness at the finish. As it warms I'm noticing increased bitterness and acidity at the finish. This ale is full-bodied but with moderate carbonation, and it seems potent for its 8% ABV. Overall, this is a well-made ale as I would expect from Interboro. it appears a lot of thought went into the recipe. It's a good DIPA but the yeast and floral taste isn't quite my speed. Not a criticism - just an observation.
