On tap at the brewpub in northwest Bakersfield. Pours a slightly hazy amber in the pint shaker. Just a slash of foam but plenty of spritz on the tongue. Aroma is a sensational perfume of hops, something fragrant like Cascades.

Mellow, fruity taste like orange, with a distinct bitter-sweet flavor like marmalade. Big maltiness adds to the richness even though the ABV is quite moderate. This dries out a little as you sip, with some acidity to sharpen up the hop flavor. This is not slouch with the hops, either, but it's hugely drinkable. A nice surprise.
