Pours two fingers of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is muted grain and lemon.
The taste is balanced but nicely bitter overall. Some grapefruit and lemon.
The texture is thicker.
Enjoyable and an easy drinker.

Poured out of a 22 ounce bottle into a small tulip. Nice Amber color with a pretty nice hoppy nose. The taste leaves much to be desired. At first you think it is going to be really good but then it drops off completely and is devoid of most flavor and turns to mostly water and leaves an odd coating on the mouth. Overall it is fine but not something I need to try again

Good orange, grapefruit, floral nose. Slight tropical fruit up front that quickly fads to malt with a very slight lingering bitterness.

Most comments about Ale Ya mirror my comments about Zeus.

Better than theur Zeus offering. Not special but better than Zeus. Again Enjoy By is a betterm beer, not sure who got jerked off at BA to give such a review. Decent beer, Worthy of a 92 maybe, but 97 is way to high

The dry hopping is really evident in the finish...delicious. Kinda tastes like a less sweet Hopslam.

Tulip glass: this 9.0 bomber pours exquisitely. Balanced scent between sweet to floral . taste delivers smoothly rich flavor s . overall a true contender. Cali is Bakersfield too.

Poured from a bomber bottle into a globe glass.

L - Medium gold color with orange highlights. Slightly hazy. Off white head is thick, sticky and persistent. Lots of lacing on glass.

S - Aroma is dominated by hops, which are grapefruity and earthy. Not much malt aroma, but there is a nose-tickling alcohol presence that implies high ABV.

T - The taste of fresh, grassy and grapefruity hops infuse the beer. There is a small earthy note to the hops, but not as apparent as in the smell. There is some low bready malt behind the hops. The finish is dry and hop-infused. Alcohol doesn't contribute to the flavors.

F - Medium body with smooth, moderate carbonation. Super high hops bitterness. Strong alcohol burn.

O - This is a strongly-flavored and aroma-ed beer that is all about fresh, citrusy hops. I personally would like a little more malt in a Double IPA, but it's tough to find fault in a beer this good.

Very good ipa that is often overlooked in Central Cal. Nice citrusy taste, I believe there is mosaic in it. Hops are prominent but not overbearing. Malt is subdued and contributes to the back end. Excellent body and feel on this.

Overall run of the mill beer. Mildly enjoyable taste with a lightness up front, but a strong alcohol burn on the nose and harsh aftertaste. Some pluses and some minuses make an overall average beer.
