Small place. Service was very good and so was quality. But it was basically all IPA’s on the menu. Would like a little diversity.

Not a huge tap list, with eleven total offerings, including two ciders and one kombucha. Four of the remaining offerings are New England style IPAs, leaving little variety remaining for non-hop heads.
Quality of the beer is very solid, if not outstanding.
Three locations in Oahu; the Pearlridge spot West of Honolulu (in a mall) partners with food trucks to provide near-continuous and rotating food options, which is really awesome - and honestly, raises the “Vibe” score signifantly. Being in the mall, it’s a bit loud, although there is decent enough seating, including a moderate bar.

My wife and I visited Beer Lab HI a few months ago before the pandemic hit; I'm just getting to typing up my notes now.
When we visited, there were 10 beers on tap. Half of these were IPAs, but they also have a sour, porter and a couple other styles. Taproom has a cool, clean buildout with several big table, along with a couple TVs playing sports. I tried three IPAs and had sips of porter and sour. The beers are generally above average; the Ikura IPA was my favorite. Service is good, although they aren’t super busy.
They don't have a kitchen, but there's an outstanding to-go poke place around the corner, Ahi Assassins. Great with beer!

I went to the Wapihio location with one of my son's after hiking the Aida Loop Trail. Located in an industrial part of the city, there is a decent amount of seating. Games and friendly service made for an enjoyable late afternoon. We had the Dubbel and nitro porter. Both were good beers and I bought a crowler of the Dubbel. Will be back!

In my opinion, these guys brew the best beer on the island. IPAs are fantastic! Their use of brett in their beers are tasty. Most stouts have great flavor; their Chief Stout is ridiculously good. And if you're into it, they also make their own sake and kombucha. Get their crowlers to go.

Really like this place. While it's in a smaller space, they've utilized it very well. All in a corner store spot, they've got ample seating, TVs, a bar, and brewery. I guess since the brewers are engineers, it shouldn't be that much of a surprise though. Almost al of their beers are brewed once, with very few exceptions. They like to experiment with brett in a lot of their beers, which can produce some great tropical flavors. They also use a lot of local ingredients, which is a plus. Parking isn't hard to find, on the street or in the lot near by. If you're a beer geek, definitely worth a stop. Hopefully they start bottling some of their brews soon.
