This is a topnotch IPA. It has a high ABV and fantastic taste. There really isn't any bad notes to it except that it is hard to find on tap because it constantly sells out. If you are in the Northwest Arkansas area, this is a must taste and go to beer!

Pours a translucent amber that turns to a foggy amber the last ounce or two of the bottle. Head is a finger in height, khaki in color, and pillowy and dense in retention. Aroma is herbal, citrus, tropical fruits, and spicy hops. There is a hint of sugary lactose adding a sweetening layer. Flavor profile is herbal, citrus, tropical fruits, and spicy hops. A sugary lactose shot opens up the flavor profile, with the brunt of hops filling the middle. Spicy, piney hops stick to the tongue and linger for a long while after the lactose fades. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a funny, fuzzy texture that makes it drink a little thicker. Overall, a solid IPA that mingles sugary lactose quality with standard, sticky hops.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz bottle.

Thanks Russ.
Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a bronzed copper color with a sly transparency about it. A beautiful rocky white foamy head slid off delicately leaving some speckled white lace sticking to the glass.
The aroma has a wonderful clean honey malt slyly moving into a crisp semi-sweet sticky piney hop residue.
The flavor leans into the honey malt sweetly. Bitter piney hops slide in underneath. Mild caramel malty aftertaste, somewhat toasty and biscuity.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt a tad lower than expected but I wasn't worried. ABV felt pretty close to what was projected. Mild caramel malty finish.
Overall, pretty good AIPA that seemed closer to an "old school" version of the style. I'd give this another go around if offered. However, if anything, I'm super glad I just made 50 states of beer in life. Hells to the yeahs for that!

Murky brown-amber , poured into a pint glass, no head. Hop fruit smell, taste is a nice and agreeable balance of hops and malt and peppery crackers. A little watery, but a quite nice brew.

Pours a chill-hazed & effervescent amber with a thumb+ of beige colored head. Great head retention & lacing

S: Cakey, not a lot else

T: Cakey, a little pine, some woodyness & much dryness front. More cakeyness, a little woodyness, some pine & grapefruit. Finishes cakey, dry, piney

MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, alright carbonation

Drinks easy, was better on draft, freshness may be in question, they may also be working out some some large-scale production/packaging issues. Worth a shot
