No canning date. Can to wine glass.
Look: Pours a hazy light yellow with a fine-pored white head that dissipates quickly without any retention. No floaters.
Smell: Fresh citrus fruits, especially lime and lemon, paired with hints of apricot. Slightly hoppy.
Taste: The very sour notes of lemon and lime are tamed by the added lactose which makes it taste like lemon ice cream with a bit of vanilla.
Feel: Fresh and juicy. Low carbonation. Acidic without being to sharp.
Overall: This is very interesting and a great example of the style. Brewed without any fruits in the mix and just by adding lactose you could easily mistake it for some kind of citrus juice. The lactose evens out the tartness very nicely and makes it smooth and drinkable. Very good beer.

A: Although a bit hazy, this orangina looking brew has a certain sheen and brightness to it. Contrasted with a pithy white head.
S: Sunny, electric, and downright tropical: a riot of mango-banana-citrus. Lemon peel, pomelo, tangerine juice, pineapple empanadas. Pan dulce rolled with vanilla cream.
M: Med bodied. Can definitely notice the lactose in the airy feel that maintains itself despite the acidic onslaught.
T: Sour lemonhead candy, rosemary-orange bombolini, slight hay funk, and limeade. A good mix of tropical/citrus/herbal hops, some sweet malt and sour tang like doing a tequila shot. But like, tang, I'm also prone to get a slightly tinny aftertaste with this one; it's minimal and intermittent. Otherwise, I really appreciate this mellow, summer drinker from them.
