Pours golden/corny looking into beer glass. Foams up a bit and recedes completely and no lace remains as does with OM Regular. Taste is mildly watered down, not as bad as a lot of light beers, tastes corny and has a very pleasant sweet taste and aftertaste unlike any other light macro's I'm familiar with.

With the pleasant aftertaste you may find yourself wanting more than 1 can of this stuff. Definately one of my top 3 light macro's if nothing else for lack of unpleasant aftertaste and presence of some flavor throughout. Go with OM regular if not calorie conscious for more flavor.

Old Milwaukee Light has a thick, stark-white head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, and a surprisingly good amount of residual lacing. The aroma is faint sweetness and grain, and the flavor is the same, and it has almost no hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Old Milwaukee Light finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and ultra drinkable. Overall, for what it is, it's a very good beer.

Old Milwaukee Light brewed by Pabst Brewing Company with an ABV 3.88. This brew pours out a nice light amber color with a small white head. This is a filtered brew you can see right though it. The smell is nice with some grains and malt. The taste is light, but rich. There is a lot going on in this brew. For being a light brew it has a lot of flavor and body. There is nothing overpowering in this brew. Old Milwaukee Light has a real nice balance it. The mouthfeel is nice, clean, and refreshing. Pabst Brewing Company did a nice job with this one. I would buy this brew again. Overall I'm giving this brew a 4.75 out 5.

Im embarrassed to say this, but this beer is actually a great tasting light beer. Who knew? It's got a clean taste with no tinny or weird aftertaste. I'm going to start buying this beer for the warmer months because i think it'll be a great lawn mowing beer. Don't be embarrassed like I've been, pick some of this up, it's actually better than most of the more expensive mass produced light beers. True Story!

Presentation: 12 oz can, no freshness date. I love the boasting on the can; 1999 GABF Gold medal winner … America’s Best Tasting Light Beer.

Appearance: Translucent very pale yellow, perfect clarity with a minimal yet sticky lace on top.

Smell: Very clean nose with hints of grain and a smidgen of hops.

Taste & Mouthfeel: Super smooth with a spot on crispness, watery malt and cereal grain flavour. Very little hops at all, just a small amount of bitterness and not flavour. Very clean on the palate with little to no off flavours … I could not detect any. Clean and dry.

Notes: This is what a light beer is supposed to be, If I was a light beer drinker this is the one I would go for time and time again.

Old Milwaukee Light, winner of the 2008 World Beer Cup gold medal, American Light Lager category.

Appearance: Beautiful, like a supermodel.

Smell: Crisp and clean, no funky smells, everything is OK.

Taste: Crisp, clean, no off-flavors. I can't detect the heavy cheap corn ingredients of regular Old Milwaukee. This tastes better than ANY of the light beers made by Bud, Coors, or Miller. The good folks at Old Milwaukee Inc. really nailed the light brew recipe here.

Mouthfeel: Brisk and fizzy, high carbonation, like an ice-cold can of Hamm's.

Drinkability: Five points, that's for sure.

Overall: Old Milwaukee Light is the best light brew on the market. Why pay more, when you can get the best for less?

Appearance - Light golden/yellow. Clear and bubbly. Tall white soapy head quickly dissipates. Pretty average for style.

Smell - Faint sweet malt. Something else kind of unpleasant.

Taste - Quite light. Begins candy sweet and finishes with just a hint of hoppiness. Pretty standard for a macro light - the finished product, though, its a little off-tasting.

Mouthfeel - Light and tingly.

Drinkability - A little more character than many macro lights, but not a flavor I would return for. Gets a bump for being reeealll cheap and for referring to that queen of cities - Milwaukee.

An hour before my buddy's wedding in Bascom, OH this week, I decided more "emergency" beer was needed for possible late night. So I ran down the road to Tiffin to pick somehing up and this was what I ended up with. I was going to do the regular Old Mil but they only had thirty packs and that seemed excessive.

This is incredibly bland and flavorless but also overcarbonated and watery. Fine for easy pounding but not something worth looking out for.

Poured from a 12oz. can into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is an extremely pale yellow color with a short white head that fades very quickly and leaves a very thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is very faint but contains light malts, some adjuncts and miniscule touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out some mild breadiness from adjuncts and a very thin malt character followed by a little bit of sweetness. The hops presence is almost nonexistent and what balance the beer has comes from the fact that there isn’t much of anything in the beer at all to conflict with anything else. The after-taste is slightly bready.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, very light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean.

D: This beer as about as bland as they come and as low of an ABV as you’ll find in a non-NA beer, but those traits also make the beer poundable, overall however there are several other inexpensive options out there that are better.

Was given one of these by a buddy last night after he criticized the Schneider Weisse I was drinking.

Pours a thin, piss yellow body with zero head. Smells literally like musty sweat. Somehow, some way there is a decent amount of lacing. Taste is surprisingly not bad, a bit of bite at the start and no apparent aftertaste, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is what all light macros feel like: watery. Definitely easy to drink if you're looking for a beer with almost no taste or alcohol content, or something to funnel at a party.

Old Milwaukee Light pours a light yellow color with a huge white head from a twelve ounce can. The aroma is sweet, and a bit of cereal grain, and if you take a big whiff you get musty which almost gives it an industrial like quality. This is a light, sweet flavored beer, tasting mostly of cereal grains but it finishes very clean. Better than I expected, and not bad for a beer in its style. The can says "America's Best Tasting Beer" I wouldn't go quite that far.

A - Poured out a straw yellow color with a foamy, white, two-finger head. No lace.

S - Smelled of some light malt and corn.

T - It tasted of light sweet malt with some bitter bite from hops.

M - Better than expected from a light beer. It is crisp, sharp and light bodied. Not thin and watery like some other light beers.

D - Not great tasting, but easy drinking. Makes a good lawnmower beer.

Pours a clear, pale yellow. 1/4inch head of a clear color with poor retention and no lacing. Smells of adjunct in a clean lager. Fits the style of a light lager. Has a smooth and crisp mouth feel. There's a high carbonation level present. Tastes of adjunct mostly with a strong lager characteristic. Slight malt background is noticeable in the aftertaste. Overall, another light lager which is definitely not my favorite style.

Drank straight out of the can.

No appearance this time but I've poured this beer before and it is a light yellow typical of light lagers.

The smell is light corn and grain and I swear I smell a little bit of hops in there.

Taste is much like the smell. A light cereal grain with just a hint of corn on the back end. There is very little hop presence but it is there a tiny bit. The finish is completely clean and leaves you wanting another drink.

A friend turned me onto this beer and I'm very glad he did. It is a step above other mass produced light lagers and is one of the best values out there.

This AAL really has no taste what so ever. Its water that has a skunked corn meal taste. I like AAL alot with so many others to buy from Hamms ,pabst, bud this one can be skipped.

I went into this review not expecting much. Guess what I got in return... not much. A yellowish color under some fizzy river suds. Smells and taste like a hybrid between rice, corn and garbage water. Watery but fizzy body. Maybe someday I will find a light lager that does not give me bad dreams.

Pale gold with a head that goes away right away. This beer smells like Cheerios! It smells just like when you open a box of Cheerios and take a wiff. So I guess I could say OM Light has a cereal grain odor. It tastes OK for a cheap crappy light beer. Not too bitter or rancid. It's pretty easy to drink. It watery and thin and doesn't taste completely crappy therefore I say it's pretty drinkable. No terrible aftertaste either. I don't much care for this style of beer but for this style of beer, it's a pretty decent one. $5.99 12 pack... MSU football tailgater's friend.
